Yes birth control shot get one every three mos. I have had migranes for a long time munkey munk does too, I switched to this bc and it made me happier and not so grumpy helps tons with pms I dnt get it any more and dnt have periods, the happy feeling I get just seems to wear off quick like one month into it so I wanted to talk to my dr bout trying something else along with the shot. Also I like the migraine meds munkey munk gets so I wana see if my dr will give me some

I sure hope you get some relief, I hear those migraines can be horrible

Thanks JSM, I am not sick tho, I went in for my bc shot and wanted to talk to my dr about new migrane meds and poss something to make me more upbeat an happy, they said all they booked me for was nurse for shot I wasn't aware of that and had to reschedule for next week

     I'm sorry you need to be more upbeat an happy, we are in the same boat, I pray they give you something that works. The new pill he gave me to feel more upbeat caused such shortness of breath and violent thoughts after one pill I threw them away. It is very difficult to get put on the right meds, I sure hope you are successful, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I don't wish depression on anyone.

It is so frustrating when you finally get your appt made - show up and can't even see the doc.  I had that happen once for an appt for my knee but still - ya take off work you go and sit there and wait only to be told you have to reschedule  NoRose I am glad you got in - that would not have been good if you didnt we might not have gotten you back there.  ScareyCarrie - I hope at your next appt they can come up with a plan for you - headaches are rough - they are enough to make you feel down.

JSM, you didn't, you had valid questions, and me being the pessimistic person that I am, don't see a lot going to be done about children's issues, I said it on Somer's thread and I will say it here, sorry, budget cuts galore, and I don't see money going to children's issues. I am sorry, but that is the way I see, it is wrong dead wrong, but reality. I know how CA is suffering, and I don't see Arnold handing out money for some of these issues

I understand completely NoRose - sometimes change seems hopeless. The threads would miss you terribly if you weren't here - your compassion is astounding - don't ever leave and don't ever give up we have to try to make things better no matter how difficult it seems at times.

I appreciate that, thank-you. And especially on this thread it is like family. Just frustrated tonight, little girl walks home from school with her siblings, runs away from them, and ends up in a landfill in another state. Can't make much sense out of that, but I always hope that out of such a horrible ending, something good may come from it, new law, new something to help, but that is hard sometimes. And the mom will forever torture herself over this. I look back at some of the mistakes I made with my kids growing up, and I just shake with fear. At the time I didn't think a little thing could have ended in horror.

Trimm....that was like a group of angels singing...I can not imagine the pain this family is feeling tonite and will feel until they see their angel in the arms of Jesus, I just lift this family up in prayer...so sad.

Good Morning! 

I cannot believe I'm the first one here this morning. Truthfully, I didn't sleep very well after the hard day yesterday. I even broke down and took an ambien along with my pain pill, and I was still up and down all night. Such dreadful things going on in our world.

I did talk to my son and they made the trip safely. The Hotel is beautiful, and they had a nice buffet and meet and great last night. He sounded really thrilled and impressed. 

Hubby and I got all the prep work done for making the pepper jelly yesterday. So after he wakes up and has breakfast we will probably get it done.

Frankly, this morning I feel so depressed I just feel like going back to bed and canceling today.

Good morning Fanny - I couldn't sleep either - I was up early - have an early dental appt ugggh.  It is beyond disturbing when the children in our world fall victim to these POS.  I am happy to hear your son is having a good time on his trip what a great opportunity - I am sure that brought a smile to your face - it did mine.

Wetterling to Mark 20th Anniversary of Abduction

ST. JOSEPH, Minn. (AP) - It will soon be 20 years since 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling was kidnapped by a stranger just a half-mile from his home in St. Joseph.

The Wetterling family will mark the day by hosting a "Celebration of Children" concert at the Benedicta Arts Center at the College of St. Benedict on Oct. 17.

Jacob was abducted Oct. 22, 1989. Patty Wetterling, Jacob's mother, calls it an unbelievably long time ago.

Patty Wetterling says the concert will be an uplifting day, featuring children's musician Red Grammer. She says it's also a chance to thank everyone who has supported the family over the past 20 years.
