Easy has had news from Jossy this morning and wanted me to let everyone here know what he said. This is what Easy posted at T4N:

(What Easy posted)
Just a heads up for those interested.

Nothing on the Natalee Holloway case in DIARIO this morning, but probably will be tomorrow. The editors plan to go all the way with the information they have gathered and publish it in the paper.

------------------------------------------

(What Jossy said)
Probably tomorrow. We are going all the way with the case. Saturday [The Lineup] there will be revelations and use of the video tape with Dompig. Don't miss it!

What is this Sinterklaas in Black face all about???
This looks very wrong.... Shocked

I did not see it, but I ssaw Sinterklaas in black face and many children on Aruba in pictures of their festival and their version of Christmas.  They have a nursery that keeps children for locals and/or tourists during events or when they need sitters and one of the projects is painting them in blackface.  I saw that on one of their websites long ago.

Casa - I posted those as they had the most information.  He did post in the forum some but it was before the last crash and those posts aren't available now.

Hello All ~
I do also remember him stating that it was his son who escorted Natalee to the MBHS Senior dance/ festivities...(their photos we have seen..he in his tux and she looking totally elegant in the black dress). They are posed at Beth's house with that fabulous red sportscar in the backdrop, one with the white limo and the waiting & standing limo driver in the backdrop, and one photo where they are in the limo.

Thanks, Jacqui, so hard to believe she's 16!!!

So is there anything new?   Any interesting media coverage last nite that I missed because I was at an ornament party drinking wine and laughing with my neighbors?

Peaches, big hugs to you.  I am glad you had a good time at the ornament party.  That sounds like a lot of fun.  Our garden club does that and we have a great time.  We always have a great time.

Give your daughter a big hug and 16 kisses for us.  Hold her close.  They are gone before we know it.  But one good thing:  A daughter is a daughter all of her life and a son is a son until he takes a wife.

I've been waiting while y'all been discussing the veracity of Viet Vet, yet none of you have questioned the veracity of his source?

If the source new about the baseball bat, why didn't the source tell the ALE or anyone else?

Maybe they did...perhaps the reason for the curious "heavy battery" charge of Guido's ?

Here are a couple of post from Viet Vet on the front page:

88. #76, Miss-underestimated, the reason nothing was done to Freddy is same as the whole mess. They never intended to prosecute J2K and Paulus and Joran’s seedy friends. Everyone involved in the investigation was very rude to us and the immediate family. They would not impound the car, search the van der Sloot residence and follow up on any clues we uncovered. Any good info you took to them was destroyed. It was like the old World War II movies about the Nazis. They ran the investigation and they were answerable to no one. It was rigged from day one, and when it is all over bet they use the old line, “we only followed orders”. Anything I can tell you about how we were treated is much worse than I can explain. So if it sounds bad, you have to multiply by 10. These people were liars, cheats, looking for payoffs, and loyal to the few who put them in power. Do not expect them to prosecute, Karin Jansen will resign first. She is a friend to the Van der Sloots. All of us in the U.S. should stay far away for Aruba and all the Carib. area. They do no like us and never have, it is jealousy that fuels their dislike. So now we have learned hate them and boycott them till we get justice. We will never stop. Never…Someone will eventually talk and then, many will pay the debt they owe Natalee and the world.

89. One thing I should add, there were some good Arubans who are paying for something they had nothing to do with. That is the pity of war.

96. #87, nychic. They knew every move we made. Our cell phones were monitored, we were followed and some of the people supposedly helping us actually worked for the other side. ie..Charles Croes, Julia Renfro. They followed us and said they would help all they could. Originally that may have been true, but there is no doubt the ALE and higher government officials got to them. Early, very early I think the ALE and tourism dept. got together to cover this up for the good of Aruba and their friend Paulus. It has backfired, don’t you know they read this site and it most certainly gives them the shakes. They have accomplished the reverse of what they wanted. Aruba is only going to go further down. I bet food costs and drinks are out of site. Those who go there, better take a canteen.

Boy...that says it all!  And found interesting his reference to the Nazi mentality.

Do you have a VENT-LESS gas fireplace or a VENTED one?

I have a vent-less.  I never have to open the flue and there is no funny smell.

My friend has a vented one.  She opens her flue.  (Course she also sits in front of the fireplace and smokes when it's really cold outside.  Smoke goes up the chimney.

Does that answe your question?

Good luck with that!  My DH went to England several years ago to do some barbershopping and from what I recall, the food was less than impressive.  I think he tried a few things but I heard they eat some strange stuff.......kidney pie?  What's with that?  Who's kidney's are they?

Well, actually we don't do either traditional English or American due to hubby's food allergies. However, I know from talking with him that turkey is the traditional meat to have. I think they're big on plum pudding as well. And I know he has port and cheese delivered to his relatives every year because that's something they have on Christmas day. Other than that, I'm pretty much no help. Sowwy. Confused

LOL, Peaches, about your friend smoking in front of the fireplace because my own mother used to do that.  She would not smoke in the house normally and smoked very little, perhaps 2-4 cigarettes a day or less but in cold weather after she finished dinner, cleaning the kitchen, getting her clothes ready for the following day, she would go into the library (where our fireplace was usually burning in winter) and sit and smoke, so it did not "mess up the house."
