Well, my head is swimming from reading all the radionewz stuff.  I can't follow it at all.  Can't figure out who is accusing whom of what, and don't quite get the reason for posting all that stuff there.  Is there a Monkey that can give me a concise review of what the heck they were all talking about?

And just want to say my hope is that TJ Hart has distanced himself from NG show and will give us the real facts about what's been going on soon.  I'm so tired of the sensationalism and media hounds trying to get their face time on NG's show!

Also have a question on scanner stuff.  Does any Monkey know case number for Haleigh's case.  When the say they are Signal 51 they usually give a case reference.  Or do you think anything related to her case is purposely kept off the scanner?  Also, is there a radio designation for the detectives working the case.  Hope I've asked this clearly enough for one of you to understand what I'm asking!

IMHO, usually it is a follow up to a previous case, and I don't believe they would keep Haleigh's case # off the radio. However, I don't know what the # is , but I guess it would be easy enough to find. At one time, I saw someone list a very complete list of # designations for the LE officers. I this it was Osprey Painter that posted it, but don't hold me to it. I think the follow up numbers you are hearing are for previous burglaries, assaults, vandalisms, wrecks, etc. Often a more complete report would be made for insurance or court purposes. I hope I am making sense to you. I have probably forgotten more than I ever knew about the workings of the LE radio. I can however, still tell you the extension #'s to CID, Juvenile, Docket Room, ID, Records and several others from my department. Funny the things the brain retains. JMO

Misty Cummings' Mother Extradited On Forgery Charges

A Tennessee court decided this week that Misty Cummings' mother, Lisa Croslin, will be returned to Florida after a warrant was issued for her arrest on charges of forgery.

Misty Cummings baby-sat Haleigh Cummings before the girl's disappearance in February.

Croslin is accused of stealing a check from her former Putnam County neighbor before she moved to Tennessee.

Hank Cummings Jr., Misty's brother, is accused of stealing a shovel from the same neighbor.

Earlier posts here seem to indicate that there's a way to rewind the scanner audio and review it.  Anyone know if that's true.  At the moment, I'm just going to keep listening, but maybe later I can go back and relisten to what was broadcast if there is that capability.
