Can someone explain what they do with Oxycontin? I broke a hip two years ago and they kept me on Morphine in the hospital,but when I came home they gave me Oxycontin. It knocked me out. Is that because I was not use to taking anything stronger than an Advil? Oh, by the way, it was a good way to quit smoking.

They scrape the coating off, crush it up, snort it or inject it.  Med professionals say it's somewhat like synthetic herion.  Down here they call it Hillbilly Heroin.

My memory is so bad!  Can anyone tell me who it was that had a theory that when Hank Jr. came over to check on Misty at that very time she could have been gone in the van disposing of a body and propped the door open to get back in.  I can't even recall what day I read it but a very good idea to me how the van was moved and scractched.

Can I chime in and ask just how far away this van was from Haleigh's residence.  Was it within walking distance?  I'm sure this particular question has been asked and answered a thousand times, but I've never heard the answer to that.

I want to know the same answer as you do Crime!  When I asked before I get the transcript of the video of the Croslin girl talking about it and showing to the news person.  I still can't decipher her version of the story.  I don't think anyone has said where exactly the van was parked during the hours of HaLeigh's disappearance.

Thanks ... between the media and the lower-level communication skills of the people involved in this case, it's no wonder we're confused about what's true and what isn't.  There are days when I wish LE on this case would leak like the sieves on Caylee's case!

also, a few years ago, baby formula used to be locked up cause druggers were using it to "cut" with cocaine.... who thinks of that stuff?

Thanks Melisb. It was great at the time, but I can't see anyone wanting to be on it all the time. I like to be in control too much. I guess that is why I don't even drink.

It has never been confirmed by anyone that the washe rwas running that night.......Art, I believe was the one that first stated that, but it has never been said by anyone else in this case.......I hope we hear more about the letter tomorrow that was turned into the Newpaper office and about the one that turned it in.......I hope LE goes and gets Misty back off vacation and puts the fear of God into that girl.......Where is HaLeigh.,.....

I'm with ya HH.  Why the heck doesn't LE give regular press briefings on this case especially now that it's heated up in the past few weeks.  They do seem to act like it's "us against them".  If they'd be a little friendlier, maybe the tip/clue they are waiting on would be provided.

Yes.  lol  In many, maybe all?, inmates have to buy their own writing paper, and they get these teensy tiny pencils to write with.  As time goes by, they often learn to write teensy tiny too.

Pain meds are good, we are human and shouldn't have to suffer needlessly.
There is a line between being good for you and bad for you with these meds and the line is crossed easily. Getting scripts and selling the drugs is not just an epidemic in FL, it is here too.

I didn't get to hear it all because our power was out and I was listening through my iPhone which kept cutting out.  However, the parts I heard weren't anything more than their usual self-congratulating, self-promoting fanfare.  That being said, I'm still glad they do the broadcast if for no other reason than it keeps the flow flowing...
