Heart ... to shorten all those quote boxes ... wow, exceptionally good question.  Why did I think of that one ... gonna have to turn in my Monkey badge if I don't sharpen up here!

On the where to look for Haleigh question of earlier today ... my two cents ..

If JoeP is correct and there was a party at Chad's, then the only reason I see for Misty not being in the car with WBG as he dumped Haleigh is because it was getting close to the end of RC's regular shift and that Misty was probably frantic that she had to hurry home before he got there.  So, I'm thinking in that case, there's lots more ponds out there by the Mondex that need to be searched.  Unfortunately, given the gators, I think LE is going to have to break someone in order to get a fixed area to search.  If Haleigh's dead and in one of those ponds, there's maybe only a few bones left to tell the tale (sorry if too graphic!).

If the party was at Misty's, then they've had looked for the easiest place where they weren't apt to be seen.  River may have been too open for them.  But, my guess is some body of water.

If Misty alone, then she had to be pretty resourceful, and quite frankly, I can't think what she might have done.  She strikes me as type that doesn't operate much on her own, so I'm thinking someone got a call from her asking for help.  Seems like phone records would have turned that up.  This scenario has me very puzzled how she'd pull it off.

If Tommy did it after finding her passed out cold, then we're back to just about any body of water with vehicle access.  If JoeO did it, same thing.

Just my two cents!

O/T

OK, maybe some monkey can help me understand this. I'm in the Detroit area, we just had a flash across the screen to tune to channel 16 with is HSN.com. Now in white letters over the show it's stating that A civil authority has issued a child abduction emergency for the following counties/areas Oakland, Monroe, Macomb, Wayne, Lenawee and Washteaw at 2:31 pm on Sep 26, 2009 effective until 8:20 pm.

That's it! What the heck does this mean?? It's not an Amber Alert, there are no details about any child missing. What is a child abduction emergency and why say a civil authority???

The family has not sold HaLeigh's pictures. They are being watermarked to put a stop to the exploitation of the pictures of HaLeigh

hangnon2hope:The family has not sold HaLeigh's pictures. They are being watermarked to put a stop to the exploitation of the pics of HaLeigh.

@HaleighNewz I believe there has been exploitation of HaLeigh's pictures.

@hangnon2hope Good Point. AH puts a watermark on everything! Even his video interviews!

@hangnon2hope He even put watermarks on the Mystery Donor's checks. Maybe it is part of a copyright. I will have to learn more about this.

@HaleighNewz Maybe Crystal can address the fact that AH puts his watermarks on pictures of HaLeigh given to him by her and her family.

http://twitter.com/hangnon2hope
http://twitter.com/HaleighNewz

exploitation??  where?  how?  and by whom?

What it seems to me, this watermarking of Haleigh's pictures, *IF* those pics have not been sold by her family/friends, it's about exclusive ratings.  As in 'I got the pics before you did, neener neener'.

IMO, the only folks with the right to 'watermark' Haleigh's pics, are her own family members.

I'd think the family would be very happy to have Haleigh's photos out there in order to help keep awareness of her out there and help find her.

Having said that, I do believe Art Harris makes money from his site and does watermark images he uses (I have always had a personal issue with that.)

But if it is true that the family is making an issue over Haleigh's photos being shown now would make me think of the Anthonys. And when I think of the Anthonys, it is never a good thought.

Just my 2¢.

I am taking this with a grain of salt at this time.

For those of you wondering/praying etc. about the officer (papa1278) who crashed into the trees during that high speed chase the other night (scanner report).... back on duty today, must be ok.

Thanks for the update, Wyks.

I was listening to you mention it and I really had wondered a few times since.

Very kind of you to update on that.

Thanks Wyks ... every time I listen to scanner, it brings it home to me how brave these people are.  They get a call someone has gun or whatever and just 10-4 and go deal with it.  I'd be shaking in my boots ... I'm sure you'd hear it in my "tennnnnnn-faaaahhhhh"!

Crime,
All of what you say makes sense.
I wonder about the players and their comfort zones.
I wonder where Misty and her brother hung out in the years prior to this happening.
Misty being from Daytona previously, what about her brothers?
I wonder where they hung out, hunted, fished etc.
Same for the rest of the players.

Brother should be brothers plural.

O/T (sort of):

Holy smokes I just spend hours reading about the chaos in Lindsey Baum's thread from last night and today!

All that after the spinning events in Haleigh's room yesterday/last night, and I think I officially have less brain cells than Misty, if that is even possible.Whew...

Something has to give.....Is Guantamano still open? Maybe LE can send all these characters there and bring back waterboarding.

Any one ever discuss if RC worked part time and not full time for PDM? I ask this because Shoemaker said her regular hours were from 5:00 to 12:00 _ odd hours, does not compute with full time work - just asking.

Very difficult to establish comfort zones when I am having difficulty establishing home zones. I have a minimum of 20 addresses of all these players. Teresa being at the top of the list. No location for her in Pomona Park at time of crime, oh well.

Which accounts for why she had to send her mother over to check after getting a call from Ron.

I thought we read somewhere that an alleged employee of PDM stated that PDM does not offer overtime to new employees.  Ronald had only been there six weeks iirc.  Sorry my response is just another question and is not more help.

Sorry, that PP address doesn't work for me. I have updated address. She moved Nov 08.

Have idea that 105 is a family piece of property though. She may be able to use it if it is.

Hi Clarice, welcome aboard.

yes, Ron's timeline on his job, has been dissected, resurrected, spliced and diced, rooted and tooted, and whatever other action word that can be applied.

Thank you and may I ask what the results were of the findings of his work at PDM. I mean the hours he was employed there on Feb 9.

You're welcome, Brandi, and thanks!  Sounded like such an awful crash that night.  There wasn't anything in the news that I could find.  So it was great relief to hear him back on scanner today.

I suppose my question is stupid, sorry. Thought maybe somebody actually found out the real  hours. If not, it appears there is a very good reason why it has been kept secret.

There are NO stupid questions, imo anyway.
I don't think anything conclusive has been determined about his work hours, very frustrating.
