Hi Monkeys!!!

Just popping in to say a quick hi.  Grandsons are here tonight and I have finally wrestled the computer away from them.  But I did need a break from it all.  Just a quick review of last couples pages tells me no good news yet on Haleigh.  That's so sad.  I keep hoping LE is on the track to breaking this case.  So much about it confuses me.  I'm praying LE has got a scenario that they feel confident about and that they are just waiting to get that last piece of the puzzle in place before they start stabbing each piece onto the board with some force and assurance. 

I don't know what happened February 9/10 ... and am almost beyond speculating .. but I just pray we'll all have an answer soon.  Sometimes I wonder if Misty might have actually told the truth in at least a general way and that she really does not know what happened to Haleigh.  If that's true, I can't imagine the torment.  But I think she at least has some "guilty knowledge" since then and that is perhaps why she's flunked polys.  And I think if she has "guilty knowledge," then so does Ron.  Somehow they appear to be in this together. 

I have to say for 16/17 years old, she's apparently one tough nut to crack.  How does a 17-year-old get to be that way?  I'd have never had that forbearance against the full force of the law when I was her age.  So, she might be evil, but at the least, she's a very interesting child. 

As I said, I'm totally confused.  Neither Misty nor Ron seem to exhibit any serious interest in finding Haleigh at this point.  Why?????  Let's hope LE knows why and is just not saying yet.

Meantime, as others have mentioned, it seems our only source of coverage of this mess is NG and her sensationalist reporting.  Back in the day, I thought CourtTV was a godsend for all of us who get caught up by crimes of this magnitude.  Everything that has happened at that network over the past couple years has told me that the only thing that matters is ratings.  They and what is now HLN may claim to care, but it all rings false to me.  If they really cared, they'd cover "crime news" as it really is .. and not just feed the cult of personality that they do!!!

K.  that's my two cents ... mostly out of disappointment that no one yet has stepped up to be the voice for Haleigh ... except perhaps a few Monkeys!

Nancy Grace is so very disappointing with her sensationalism, that I don't bother to watch her.  Waste of time, totally.   With Art Harris and T J Ward apparent conflict,  there's no really reliable source other than the occasional blurb from the standard news channels. I'm left to wonder if anyone has a handle on the Haleigh story.

The main interests of Ron and Misty are to get through their daily travails of getting their drug supply.  Everything thing else, including Haleigh, is secondary.  Oh, and there are also the petty spats with inlaws and others.

No Rose,  I agee.  Don't watch JVM either.  She reaches for instant sensationalism.  It pains my poor ears when she screetches out so.  I swear she must have gone back on the booze.  Doesn't fit a picture of sobriety to me.  She is in crescendo.  If it weren't so sad it would be humorous

Man, 140 loratabs sounds like a lot to me. The shape I am in right now with my little pain pills, I wouldn't be back in the world till sometimes next year....

140 Lortabs = 28 day supply allowing for 5 pill a day or approx. 1pill every 4 to 6 hours.  Standard dose for pain management but regular general physicians only give a 3-5 or 10 day supply.  Pain docs are the goldmine business in Central and South Florida.  There is one every two or three blocks down there.
