If RC made all those calls looking for Misty that night, he had to know the possiblilty existed that she was lying. The same goes for his mother, since she paid for the cell phones and had access to all the calls. They both lied about this from the beginning. His mother encouraged him to marry Misty, I assume because he would be doing jail time for statutory rape if he didn't. Have they finally found a legal loophole now where he doesn't have to be charged with a crime prior to the marriage?

Ron is very crafty when it comes to the law. Expect to learn nothing tonight as Shoemaker will be the mouthpiece and keep RC out of trouble. Isn't that what has happened all of Ron's life? Isn't his all about keeping RC out of trouble and protecting him?

TN seems to be at the helm of all of this. Her boyfriend pays for the first trip (yeah right) and now Misty has found a wealth BFF. TN explains away all fears that family funding is going to keep Msity on a vacation. Strange how TN manages to find people to send Misty away and pays for it with her boyfriend etc. TN is at the middle of this whole mess and is the driving force behind the media.

so this poses a question because i do agree as to him marrying her to avoid charges for stat rape... if misty gets pissed enough and they get a divorce can she file stat rape charges for sex prior to marriage?

Teres Neves has been living with Jeff H since 11-08 at least. The have lived in Fruitland Park which is 84 miles from Satsuma, according to my records. I don't know anything about Wildwood or where it is located but would be interested to hear about it.

For information about TN, she had recently updated the white pages to reflect a Rita Lane address. On a legal printout, there was no listing for her living there but I do have other family members that have lived at that address in the past.

Island Monkey, thanks    I feel the same way about your posts.  I try to stay true to what I am interpreting their actions to mean and not get caught up in going with the popular opinion.  It doesn't always win me friends, but I'm best at being "Me".  In fact, nobody does it better!

Me too, you could go down that road for yrs and I just like KISS (keep it simple stupid) or the nicer version Occam's razor. Regarding Mz Nancy losing focus on the victims ITA, just last night she was saying how FAB lost his job and still can't get one because "he has been looking for HaLeigh", hmmmmm really where has he been looking for her? Does he think she got last at GGMS MH? Pffffft-that's BS, he actually reminded me of Casey A......remember when she called 911 because the protesters outside her house and now he did it because Timmy called him a FAB come on get a grip!

I think she should leave it all alone...Wouldnt it be her parents that would file charges on her behalf, being a minor? We have all seen how she was raised..so I dont see that happening.
I have a feeling she should stay as far away from RC and his family....She needs to stay away from her family.  SHE ALSO needs to help LE in anyway she can, cuz I have this feeling, its all gonna be dumped on her.

The worse part to me is this..HaLeigh is out there, and seems no one is really doing anything to find her...all they want to do is point fingers. As we have seen here lately, missing persons are being found.

I think someone who is so very cruel, is having a sick ole time, watching this whole thing.

Court Papers Not Filed, But Lawyer Expects It Soon

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The attorney for the father of missing 6-year-old Haleigh Cummings told Channel 4 that Ronald and Misty Cummings may seek a divorce.

"With all the circumstances that surrounded the obvious -- with Haleigh missing -- have but a stress and burden on their marriage," said Brandon Beardsley. "In my opinion, they need to do something different and move on with their lives."

Misty Croslin was 17 years old and watching Haleigh and a younger brother while Ronald Cummings was at work the February night that Haleigh disappeared.

An Amber Alert was issued the next day as investigators believed Haleigh was taken from the home. Extensive searches of their neighborhood and investigation of more than 4,000 tips phoned in to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office have not provided any answers to what happened to the girl.

Ronald and Misty got married in mid-March, five weeks after Haleigh disappeared and while they were still living in a tent pitched outside Cummings' mobile home.

"Ever since Feb. 10 of this year, they have been scrutinized by the media," Beardsley said. "They don't go a day without a reporter or a news crew beating on their front door. I think that has been a contributing factor, along with a lot of other things. They went through a lot more than me or you could ever imagine."

Beardsley said he expected the divorce would take place "in the near future" and would be uncontested. Channel 4's Jennifer Bauer said no papers have been filed with Putnam County family court as of midday Tuesday.

Investigators have given polygraph tests to everyone who had contact with Haleigh in the days before she disappeared and have followed leads throughout Florida and beyond, but they said they still don't know what happened to Haleigh.

Anyone who has any information about what happened to Haleigh is asked to call Crimestoppers at 888-277-8477.

Nope I haven't heard or read that one either and yes I do believe LE already has the phone records with the numerous calls from Ron to Misty with the unanswered ones and the call from Ron to Tommy?  I'd like to see if that one is actually on the record and if so why if Ron asked him to check on Misty that night it took him an hour to get around to going over to the house?  Too many questions for me.
