This hot news just in from TJ Hart. It seems that this case is headed into yet more new and strange developments. The Haleigh Cummings story is one of the strangest I have ever seen - Simon

97.3 The Sky spoke with the attorney representing the father of a missing 6-year-old Satsuma girl regarding his possible divorce from his wife—the last person to see his daughter.

Attorney Brandon Beardsley of Mowery, Shoemaker and Beardsley is representing Ronald Cummings. He told 97.3 The Sky Tuesday that a divorce between his client and his wife Misty Croslin-Cummings could be forthcoming.

Beardsley tells the Sky the two have been under a lot of public and media scrutiny which he says has been stressful and detrimental.

According to Beardsley, should a divorce take place, it would be an amicable and uncontested dissolution and a rather uneventful process.

97.3 The Sky asked about Ronald’s finances and if he was still collecting unemployment. Beardsley would only say that he is not concerned about Ronald’s finances, but only his client’s best interests.

We asked Ronald’s attorney about the validity of a claim by an anonymous source that the paperwork was already filed as of 4:53 p.m. Monday. Beardsley said he was unaware of the paperwork being filed or executed at that time, but oviously there has been some discussion about what the next step should be in their relationship.

So......why have ANY of them on the Nancy Grace show? All it ever is is old video clips over and over, and the first 5 mins rehashing the details of the 911 calls and Ron calling Misty a stupid b*tch and no coherent answers to the operators questions. The we're out to a member of the family that sits there like they don't even know why they are there, and more none coherent answers. Then, out to the lawyers, where the only interesting thing they have to say is if Susan Moss is there.   

I'm going to sit this one out tonight. Surely to God there is something better to watch in NG's times lot if this is all she can come up with. Ron is thinking about filing for a divorce per his lawyer. Whoopee!!! If it happens as fast as the wedding, it'll be Wham! Bam! Thank you Ma'am! Just that quick......

Yes I have and to be honest that's what she is like on the phone etc., she is very naive and incredibly passive while TN comes across as manipulative IMO. I can't say both sides drive me nuts, one side is far more of an enabler than the other and far more manipulative. I fessed up earlier that I have no clue exactly what time my son's school gets out, I do know it's different fo walkers, than bus riders and after school care kids. My son goes to after care so there is really no reason to no the exact time, if I need to go get him I do and if the aftercare worker coul ::MonkeyBike::dn't make it for some reason I'd just call the school and find out.

Well, once it is before the judge, an uncontested divorce takes no time. He just signs the papers.

Waiting your turn until the judge deals with your case is usually what takes time.

Sounds like they are going to streamline this one through.

Someone must have connections, that's all I can say.

I hope this is news that will be progressive in finding Haleigh, but I have my doubts, sadly.

Hopefully it will be preventative in more violence in this case, I have always felt that on the horizon.

30 minutes??????? D@mn, wish I'd have moved to Florida when I was going thru my divorce which took 3 yrs. I can see it not taking more than 3-6 months as there are no assets to divide up and no custody issues but 30 minutes is a mind blower

Looks more like 5-7 days maybe?

Unless things have changed, in California the minimum time is 6 months and it's usually longer than that.  That would be in a simple no contest type divorce with no children involved.
