It's been stated over and over that Lindsey and KaraK's daughter(MK)were fast friends, stuck by each other,BFF.KaraK said her family just moved to McCleary in January 2009.
Does anyone know who Lindsey hung out with/was BFF with before January 2009?

Hi Karma,  I was looking for Libby's daughter, the one Lindsey had problems with in school.
Hi Scandi
I thought Libby Nelson's(Libby works at the BeeHive and there is also a Patricia Nelson who lives at the BeeHive,I wonder if they are related?)Hubby's name was Tag?I don't recall hearing her daughter's name but I think.....she may have been mentioned in the media.....maybe another Kayla or Mykayla?
Thanks Karma,  Someone will know.  Maybe MM will stop in tonight.
Hopefully
Maybe Tag is just a nickname for Libby's hubby?
Wait,I could have sworn the Tag name was on a parcel page from the pool house....they wouldn't use a nickname would they? Can you tell us what K stands for?

It is Kenneth W.

Hi Scandi,
I checked into Libby and Kenneth W. Libby is clean, there are court documents for a Kenneth W, don't know if it is him though as the name is rather common.

Thanks Sebastian,  There were 2 KWN's listed out of all the Kenneth Nelson's named.  And one it says is 83.  LOL  I don't know if that is him either, but the name showed up as a relative of Libby's.  Tag is her hubby's nikname, and I wonder what that is short for?

See ya tonight.  xox

I too have been out researching and saw 2 KWNs listed, one 83 and one 4?.  Also saw a KWN with burglary charges in '99 in Tacoma as I recall.   No way I can tell if these have any McCleary connection.   If this seems important to any monkeys, I can go back and re-research.   The phone listings show Kenneth W. Nelson, Libby and Autumn, ?gmother, aunt, ? again I can't tell.

Hi Chi,  I wonder if Kenneth lives with Libby?  A poster told me that Autumn is Lindsey's friend Josh's mom, and Autumn is married to E. Nelson.  So there are no clues on MS as to this 'Nelson' friend of Lindsey's?   If the telephone # you have shows Libby and Autumn together, I wonder if Josh lives there too, although the owner of the video store said 'the girls' were in at 8:15 after swimming.  I am just sleuthing as it will help in an astrological search.  xox

Scandi  I'll break the long quote and just say yes every phone listing for Libby N. showed (family) Kenneth W. living there, and reverse.  Only one showed Autumn there.

A question for you now, do you know if Kenneth W. is Kenneth Wesley N. frequently listed in Elma?  Is he part of this family?

Thanks for any information.

Hi Sunshine
I haven't watched Oprah yet but have it recorded.
Did they actually give Lindsey some time?

Thanks
I saw the video of the show at WS,that's not JenniferO they interviewed, apparently  there are a few Jennifers involved with the search center.
I'm glad they gave her the time they did......I was  hearing that they were only going to show Lindsey's poster.
Here is a link to WS that has the Oprah interview, bottom of page.

Hi Peeps,  Well, thoughts are raging about what happened in Lindsey's case and I have a few thoughts and a request:

First, I can not remember the poster here who did so much research on the man employed at the Straddleline Park and who was taking over the Caretaker duties in absence of a regular Caretaker.

In a post I had written:  " . . .
Caretaker. Could it be someone who was acting as a caretaker in lieu of a hired caretaker, as that position was not filled?

And what if that person worked in a park where there was lots of mud, the more the better for dirt biking?

And this employee who was doing the caretakers work was 'let go' from his job at the ORV Park at Capitol Forest about the time Lindsey went missing ~ a bit after as I remember.

And he had a daughter who was supposedly about Lindsey's age and knew her.

His name is 'Al' or Allen"

Can someone give me Al's last name.  I didn't write things down back then and can't remember it.  Thanks a bunch.

I had a Gestalt Moment tonight while talking to a poster friend about Lindsey wearing her swim suit when she went missing.  I'm wondering if she and MK had such fun swimming earlier, that on the walk to Lindseys house after being at the video store, they decided to have Lindsey spend the night at MK's and that way they could sneak out later and go back for another swim.

After hearing the NO from Scott, maybe Lindsey decided to go to Libby's anyway as it was on the way home, to see if she could take another dip.  If she turned right on 6th as the dog said she did, and then walked a block and a half down 6th to where Fir St would have gone thru if they had ever put it in, that route would take her directly  over to Main st close to Libby's house.

However that route would also put her walking directly in front of and then down one side of Jim Mullins house.  It just hit me, the first person in this case we even looked at.  I was always so suspicious of him as he said the kids loved to play in his creek and he has none there.  Sand Creek is unculverted in only 3 places in McCleary, and that isn't one of them.  A big red flag for me.

When I think that it could be Lindsey could have walked right there on her way home I think it might warrant another little look-see, don't you?  xox

Scandi, very interesting    I really think all of this needs to be looked at from the beginning again, and I do remember how much we discussed this Mullins character, and he doesn't even have the creek by his home to watch the kids

Good morning Monkeys.

Jim Mullins does fit into the age category.  An older man.  IMO I think the mayor needs to be looked at.  Considering that it seems the LE is so very quiet about this case and all the finger pointing at other people.  He's older.

Several posts have mentioned looking for an "older man".  Older than 20, 30, ... 60?   Have we had a real tip about the perps age?

Aren't most offenders male, between 15 and 30, live or work in the neighborhood, live alone or with parents, etc.?   Most victims are killed (if killled) within three miles?    We cannot confine ourselves to the usual, but are we excluding it?

All above assumes abduction, but I really lean toward a covered-up accident theory.

What is the new thinking on this?   Please help this confused monkey.
