CBS)  "48 Hours Mystery" teams up with CBS News' "The Early Show" anchor Maggie Rodriguez for an exclusive interview with three members of Casey Anthony's defense team and an in-depth look at a case that has become a national obsession.

It is a case that has captivated the country. In the summer of 2008, Orlando, Fla. toddler Caylee Anthony disappeared, only to be discovered six months later a short distance from her home, her skeletal remains stuffed in plastic bags and her mouth sealed with duct tape.

Her mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, was charged with Caylee's murder after not reporting her daughter missing for a month, and allegedly lying to police. With Casey facing a murder trial and the possibility of the death penalty, her parents, Cindy and George Anthony, are standing by their daughter as they search for the truth.

Now, for the first time, three of Casey’s defense lawyers - Jose Baez, Linda Kenney Baden and Todd Macaluso - discuss the case in an exclusive interview with CBS News’ "The Early Show" anchor Maggie Rodriguez on "48 Hours Mystery," Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Im praying he hasnt already fallen out & Im concerned about the material this is made of, what seems to look like mylar - up there against the sun...it brings another risk into the mix     OMG I hope they can save this kid, flipping stupid parents do the most irresponsible things putting child at risk  Seriously, it gets beyond intolerable at times.    I hope this is resolved before I have to go out

The heartless murder of Caylee Anthony, with all signs pointing to her mother Casey as the killer, has become an obsession for millions of Americans.

  Nancy Grace has made the Orlando area tot's disappearance and homicide almost her life's work for the past year and a half. It has paid off with ratings that exceed the much celebrated Keith Olbermann on many nights.

  48 Hours Mystery will try to mine some ratings of its own Saturday night with a recap of the case to this point and an interview by Maggie Rodriguez of Casey's team of attornies.

  Rodriguez's first question should be, "Who is paying you?" The Anthonys are a blue collar family, who have no known source of income since Caylee disappeared in June 2008.

  Casey's attornies have asked for a change of venue for her trial, which is expected to take place next summer. Lucky us, Broward is one of the jurisdictions under consideration.

Junk Food, Little Exercise Changes Anthony

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Since Casey Anthony has been jailed, she has received hundreds of dollars in donations into her commissary account.

It was reported on Wednesday that she had spent all of that money and was overdrawn.

"It does look like she's gained a little bit of weight," said dietician Tara Gidus.

Gidus has worked with female inmates before and said Casey Anthony is buying the wrong things.

"You can see a little bit of fat on her back," Gidus said. "She's eating way too many calories in jail and not really getting enough exercise."
Casey Anthony has spent more than $2,200 in the commissary. Her account is 11 pages long. She recently ordered hot peanuts, hot and spicy corn chips, chili with beans and breath mints.

"All of those foods sound high-calorie, don't have nutritional value," Gidus said.

Her most recent order was denied because she owes the jail $8.95. George Anthony, Casey's father, put the account back in the black when he deposited $50 Thursday.

"Inmates consume large portions just because they are bored," Gidus said.

Inmates get one hour of outdoor recreation, weather permitting, and one former inmate who didn't want to be identified said he took advantage of the outdoors time.

"(I did) a lot of pushups," he said.

Anthony's trial is expected to begin sometime this summer. The state is seeking the death penalty.

In other news in the case, Anthony’s attorneys will motion to dismiss the case against her before Judge Stan Strickland Friday morning citing spoiled evidence.
State attorneys are expected to respond by striking the motion, which they call “legally flawed.”

Other motions expected by the state include a motion to compel reciprocal discovery and to compel the defense’s witness list.

The judge will also hold a status hearing in Anthony’s check fraud case.

Anthony was charged with check fraud after allegedly stealing money from her friend Amy Huizenga, Strickland approved a motion for a speedy trial regarding the fraud case in September.

Anthony is in the Orange County jail charged with murder in the death of her daughter Caylee, who was 2 when she was first reported missing in 2008. Caylee's remains were found in a wooded area off Suburban Drive near the Anthony family home last December.

uummmm IMO those are pretty harsh words regarding the parents without knowing the circumstances.  The balloon is down and the little boy isn't there.  Some people are reporting they THINK they MIGHT have seen something fall out. I hope this little guy is hiding someplace, scared that he let the balloon loose. They are now starting a ground search.
