Anthony Family Interviews With Prosecutors Released

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- New documents were released Thursday that detail the interviews between Casey Anthony’s family and the prosecutors taking her to trial for her daughter Caylee’s murder. There are more than 1,300 pages of transcripts from the depositions of George, Cindy and Lee Anthony.
Recently, prosecutors asked the judge if they could get a transcript of George Anthony's grand jury testimony, because it seemed there were significant discrepancies between what he told the grand jury and what George told prosecutors earlier this year when they questioned him under oath, over one year ago, just before Casey was indicted for Caylee's murder.

The transcript from George Anthony’s August 5 deposition is 335 pages long. The first questions center on Casey’s childhood; she had no health problems or behavioral problems when she was a child or a young teenager.

The prosecutors questioned George about Father's Day weekend, right before Caylee disappeared, and the duct tape.

George told prosecutors under oath that he did not put a piece of duct tape on his gas can. He says he's put tape on it before, because the cap was broken, but claims he did not put that piece on because he would have done it in a much neater way.

When George was asked whether he recognized the duct tape, he told prosecutors that it's just duct tape, that he never looked at a particular brand. He told them the tape "could be from my house. It could not be from my house." Then he said he didn't recognize the tape on the can.
nvestigators say the duct tape that was on the gas can matched the duct tape from the Anthonys' home and the three pieces of duct tape that investigators found over Caylee's face.

The State Attorney's Office won't say why the transcripts were filed as public documents Thursday. Eyewitness News learned that it is a very unusual move; usually the public doesn't find out what was said during criminal depositions until the trial.

Casey Anthony is due in court for a hearing Friday morning. WFTV.com will carry that hearing live online.

First George prosecutors he did not put the tape on the gas can

George then gets testy with Prosecutors

Then he says the tape  could be from his house or could not be from his house

Then he tells them he has never seen that tape before, yet a roll of the same brand was taken after Caylee's remains were found.

Rosebuddy has had issues with the truth as well IMO.

That poor little boy. I know he's petrified.......

Im praying he hasnt already fallen out & Im concerned about the material this is made of, what seems to look like mylar - up there against the sun...it brings another risk into the mix     OMG I hope they can save this kid, flipping stupid parents do the most irresponsible things putting child at risk  Seriously, it gets beyond intolerable at times.    I hope this is resolved before I have to go out

uummmm IMO those are pretty harsh words regarding the parents without knowing the circumstances.  The balloon is down and the little boy isn't there.  Some people are reporting they THINK they MIGHT have seen something fall out. I hope this little guy is hiding someplace, scared that he let the balloon loose. They are now starting a ground search.

First off I just got home a bit ago & happy to see the outcome, however, regardless of the circumstances of this event, these parents are storm chasers who take their kids along for the ride (Hurricane Gustov for one) - attention grabbing thrill seekers who were preoccupied with appearing on a reality show & actively seeking to get a syndicated show.   The father, an amateur scientist who constructed this piece of homemade equipment evidently didnt spend any thought on how it could be a potential danger to his three sons in their own backyard.    Its not harsh to expect parents to be responsible with what they expose their YOUNG children to & they should be held accountable for it.   You certainly do not inflate something like this and then leave it unsupervised.  The father is quoted (from their reality Wife Swap appearance) as saying "there is no such thing as safety."  WTH is that!   The family held a presser & said the thing was not tethered properly, why not?  Where is the accountability or that?   It should be disturbing to people that these 3 boys were playing around with this oversized mylar balloon & then obviously helped lie for their brother.  Falcon, the kid himself is now being quoted from his father that he apparently did get in but got out before it took off.  I mean,  my God these other two brothers also were climbing on to a roof to take pictures - hello, what is wrong with this picture!  This isnt adventure or "boys will be boys" when you teach kids to take high risks with life & limb, by untrained means I might add.  If you havent viewed the videos of these kids going on storm chases with their parents & the hype you hear in these childrens voices, including the one where one of the boys jumps off the second story of their home into the living room,  you might want to.  There are no boundaries in that householdm not enough respect for life being taught.   For the record, I'm not saying this is a criminal matter per se but I am saying that there is some rather poor judgment from parents going on in that house, you can respectfully disagree if you like (key word being respectfully).

Excellent analysis, Capp! My wife and I were extremely lenient with our children. Let them drive nails in the house, drill holes in the floor when "necessary" and lots of other things. They were free to roam outside, since we live in the middle of nowhere. But we never let them get too far away from our sight or let them do anything harmful or dangerous. All children need limits; ours were just a little farther out than most. But to leave something like that balloon where kids could get in and fly away. I shudder to think!

WOW    The discoveries of them using that tape AFTER Casey killed Caylee is even more than we originally thought since they lied about that too & we have the proof now

The Anthonys heard Casey was fatter & broke so they deposited a mere $50 in her account, doesnt matter that they probably made upwards of another hundred grand or much more for their CBS "licensing fees."
