O/T: Anyone watching the odd looking Hot Air Ballon running wild in Colorado with a six year old boy aboard? Somehow the child sneaked into the carry basket.

Yes!I came over to see if you guys are watching this.

Absolutely terrifying.
they said there are helicopters flying belowit toshoot it down and are speculating that if it higher then helicopters can fly that it is 7 degrees at that height and the news helicopters ave lost sight of it... might not be enough oxygen level at that height...omg even if this lands ok i don't think the boy will be ok
sorry for o/t
They've estimated the altitude is about 7,500 to 8,500 feet.

right but they were unsure if that was sea or land level sothe newscaster/weather guy said if the choppers are sofar below because they can't get higher then it was 7 degrees or less and they have nowl ost sight of it... it was live with a delay in case of crash but now they are showing phootage captured earlier today

Reporting that the area of the balloon that the 6 yr old would be is small and not very secure.

they are basing that on his sibling seeing the door being open and the fact that it is flying crooked instead of straight

That brings up a question I've had for some time.  Ronald's mother was (is?) a dispatcher for LE, but we keep getting told it's not for Satsuma.

have we been told what County she dispatched for?

Alachua County I believe.

Neves, Theresa Ann
mother of Ronald L. Cummings, paternal grandmother of Haleigh Cummings, bd 3-7-1960, Alachua County SO Dispatcher, lives at 105 Rita Ln Pomona Park, FL, age 48

Thank you Heart.

I see that Wyks posted that initially.

Wyks - do you remember where you got that info from?

Not right off the top of my head, no.. sorry.  Am looking in family notes tho, and when I find it, will let ya'll know.  It reads like something I found from a police report, (maybe the first report from that 911 report?).  Or just a compilation of info on TN that we found in research.  That she was a dispatcher for Alachua County SO has been widely reported in the media since those earliest days.
