I wonder if he ever eve got it in, I pray not and he's hiding somewhere------------otherwise I'd like to know where the balloon took off, just to check and see if he fell or even jumped out

NG: Talk of Misty having learning disabilities.

From the very earliest, I assumed that Misty was learning disabled, given that she had not completed elementary school.  My most relieable sources say 4th grade, but lately other sources say 6th grade.  Whatever grade it is, she had considerable difficulty comprehending her classwork.  Apparently FL  does not enforce its code regarding mandatory schooling to a certain age.  Nor does it appear to have remedial classes in the area Misty lived.  That's not at all surprizing in sparcely populated areas.

re the lil 6 yr old boy..

just heard an update on the radio that they are now questioning the family. 

it will be something for sure if this is a new way to report a child missing.  not abducted, just left in a balloon.

I was watching NG last night and a caller pointed out that Misty didn't even know what 'numerical' meant and obviously she's disabled somehow.

All I can say is dropping out in elementary school is pretty stupid, but I knew a girl who stopped going to school in the 7th grade. It's sad when people short change themselves like that.

There was talk earlier on about Misty having learning disabilities, that her grandma would help her, etc.  This certainly isn't 'bombshell' news for NG.  More like filler for her shows while she waits for something else to develop. 

Wonder if 'balloon boy' is going to pre-empt the Croslin-Cummings hour on NG?

I doubt you'll hear much over the scanner, cuz it's been reported that LE is already back over to the boy's house, questioning his family members.
