CBB - are you crazy?  You think I'm going to teach Petey how to TP houses?   Monkey Devil! Monkey Devil!

You have to make a few sacrifices for artistic excellence. Have the vacuum cleaner handy ..................... and teach Petey to catch a ride on it while you're at it!

Have you seen the commercial with the JR riding the vacuum cleaner? It could be Petey's mentor! He could be a star and it could all begin with one roll of TP!!

Just one roll?

Unusually warm out here in Calif.  Was 81 a couple days ago.  Yesterday was mid 70's and expected to be about the same for the rest of the week.  It's beautiful perfect weather but unusual.  We should be getting some rain at least every once in a while

Abandoned, Wrinkly Dog Gets Full Face Lift, Double Eye Lift

Tuesday , January 05, 2010

A wrinkly dog has received a full face lift and a double eye lift costing $897 so he won’t go blind.

The abandoned shar pei, named Roland, from Australia, is highly prized for his wrinkly skin. But the breed suffers from entropion, a painful condition in which his wrinkles cause his eyelashes to turn inward and rub against his eyeballs, The Daily Telegraph in Sydney reported.

If left untreated the condition could have caused Roland to go blind and was preventing him from finding a home. So the dog has had cosmetic surgery.

Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals chief veterinarian Magdoline Awad said the 90-minute surgery was not about vanity.

"What we have done is made him adoptable," she said.

"It is not uncommon in this breed, it is a congenital problem."

Roland now has a better chance at finding a good home as a family could adopt him without having to pay for the surgery, Dr Awad said.

Dang! I didn't even know that could happen! Geeez............ note to self: Curl Kubear's lashes every morning before I curl my own!

I hate it when someone suggests that dog owners look like their dogs! I don't have wrinkles and she doesn't have cellulite a dimple, in her butt!

I've been wondering the same thing, where is our rain? Unusual indeed

It moved East and collided with arctic air!

Take it back ANYTIME!

Hi CBB !

I don't think she can, Bud's. Her specialty is bringing all shanigans to a screeching halt when she shows up!

Even Petey isn't immune!

Hi CBB !

Buds Girl - if you are referring to the forum being down or real slow it's affecting the front page as well.  To my knowledge it's a problem with the server company.  Driving me nuts too!

FWIW - part of our problems in the forum is the heavy animated graphic use with the avatars etc.  If it continues to be a problem we may have to turn off the avatars and see if that helps.  If it helps we may need to restrict what avatars can be used.  I don't want to do that though.

Klaas...Hi to you and Petey and Happy New Year...!

I have to go to Internet Options, then to Security, then raise security to "high" while I am on SM.

The sad part is it does not allow some functions when I have security on high.....like no use of bold or of smileys....and no ability to see any movies of Petey...lol.

But the site loads quickly and the pages turn without a problem.  It may be the answer for some folks.
