Well, I've got my clothes laid out, and car filled up, and I've calmed Michael's nerves, baked him some cookies, stayed out of work and cleaned his house, and made arrangements to have someone check on Kubear and Bubba.

I'm home now.............. just KuBear and me.

And I'm a total wreck now! Weird, isn't it? He thinks I'm a rock............ has actually said I'm the strongest person he's ever known (that can't be true, because he knew my Mother!) With him, I can almost believe it myself. Well, I'm alone now and this "rock" feels like sinking sands! I wish Mom were here. She simply wouldn't allow me to crumble.......... ever! I could curse, rant, fight, or buck up, but tears or helplessness in her presence just was not allowed!

I'll check in with you all tomorrow night. Say a prayer for him, please? Thanks guys. I love you!

They called today and said the surgery is scheduled for 12:45. We have to be there at 11:30.
