I see a CBB lurking above ........ hmm

Please tell me you had a Fabulous Thanksgiving .. that You did no Dishes ......

that your Son was gracious enough to Tell Mom to Sit and relax ???

Uh huh! And the tooth fairy left a million bucks under my pillow, too!

How was your Thanksgiving, Deenie? I hope it was wonderful!!!

Will you and Deenie tell me a fairy tale next?

Miss Bearly .. You slay me. Um me Thanksgiving was um quite the Morning/Day. It was me the fur kids and stomach flu.. YAY .. I thankfully was not responsible for " Cooking a thing" nor taking anything to anyone.  I never showered, My hair was all over the place, I Never got dressed was wearing what I slept in t-shirt, and pj pants to my knees ( they are cute navy blue stars and moons and a ruffle at the knee ) Found my place to be in the BAFH ROOM most of the day. My guts were Screaming past the point of no return... ewe not fun. I thought at one point I was in labor.  HOW FUN ......
My Thanksgiving - was not until 6pm,  My beautiful Daughter came to my house and spent the entire evening with me .. She brought me a plate of ( My Mom's famous Stuffing and Sweet Potatoes ) I do not eat meat ** because it does not like me. But my Daughter brought me some Dark Turkey ( my fave) I ate it. Damn my insides. We watched ELF and we talked and had a great time.  She had to leave because she had to be at work early in the am. She stayed for about 5 hours.

You asked me for a Fairy Tale  .......... Judy Miller is the best I could come up with  Monkey Devil! an angelic monkey

Yes, but the Deenie Monkey Fairy Tale was awful, except for the daughter part, and you were supposed to live happily ever after....

Looks like Bearlyhere is fast approaching Monkey All Star status.

OT
Looks like 2NJ is also approaching Monkey All Star status, only 61 more posts to go.  But what I've found is, it's not so much  the quantity of posts, but the quality of the posts that count.  JMHO   an angelic monkey

Yep....been there before and lost the status in one of the restarts, so I'll get there when I get there....Just happened to notice Bearly's count, that's all.....

oh, and they are all quality posts, too, Bearly.     Monkey Devil!

Dang - I wish the kids were still little - trying to get the tree up with all of them helping is a pain. One has to go to practice, one is busy watching TV, one is studying. Seems like it was so much easier when they were little.

You will miss this when they are out of the house.

Musings is my confessional tonight.................... I really, really, REALLY lost my temper at work today. I know there's all sorts of emotions I should be feeling............. like regretful, contrite, unprofessional, or embarrassed. Right now the only epiphany I'm having is that sometimes, on rare occasions, it feels wonderful to curse!

Wanna borrow my angel?

GE? Have you started shopping? I've done an itsy bit.............. not much!

Sad to say no. But since we moved here my list has gotten very short, just kids and grand kids. So we send gift cards. With daughter here I am waiting to see what she is getting them and will get something to go with what she has gotten them.  Then will bake and send brothers and sister some goodies.

Fresh baked goodies from Grandma are the bestest gifts!!     My son still looks forward to peanut butter balls and fudge at Christmas.

Did he say that right after yes ma'am?

Oh, GE! My Mom used to make heavenly divinity! I miss it so much! I've never made it, but I love, love it! I remember mom used to say you couldn't make it on a rainy day!  I have no idea why that would have anything to do with it, but she did say that!

Because on a rainy day, you would be inside and get in it, while on a sunny day, you would be outside playing and she had a chance to hide some of it.

I'd say it's as slow as Christmas on the forum today, except that Christmas is moving way too quickly!

I do make pumpkin bread................ I've got a really good recipe, and the fudge and peanut butter balls. And, of course, those intricate Christmas cookies!    Honestly my son associates Christmas with the cookies, because I've made them that way since he was little.

CBB You said Peanut Butter Balls ((  ))

remember the infamous Pete Shweddy and his Homemade Balls .... I hear their only sold at Christmas Time.

I don't know what is funnier the Shweddy Balls or the Shweaters ..
