Thanks Northern.  I tell him these but he seems to like the plain male names like Steve or Frank.  So far he's leaning towards Petey, Steve or Frank.  There are some names we both like (Jake for instance) that we can't use because it's the name of a relatives dog.

I like Steve...my daughter has a new dog and his name is Bobby..I think we are now a new age and are giving our furbabies people names...why not they are part of our family.

Oh my gosh Klaas, he is just precious.  Speckles would be a cute name. My son's kids are getting a mini doxie for Christmas and I want it so bad. Hopefully they will share.

Hi Darla!  I like Speckles or Patches but my husband doesn't.  We have time and I'm sure we'll figure out the perfect name!

Name him "Jack" lol...Jack Russells are great dogs full of energy and so funny...he will keep you entertained.

I tried JACK but he said no...too obvious, lol

JR Terriers can be trained to jump high.  They are very agile.  We've had them for 14 years.  Our 11yr old can jump high but isn't a jumper so to speak.  Like she wouldn't jump up and down in front of you or up and down on a fence.  But if I trained her to she would and could easily jump very high.

I like Bud but our cousins dog is named Bud so that won't work.
