Finishing up work for today, listening to xmas music........James Taylor sigh, how I love holiday music. Have any of you ever heard the song In The Bleak Midwinter? So beautiful......

Thought I'd breeze by and say hello but also let everyone know who does have iTunes, that at the moment Apple has a free Holiday Sampler with about 20 songs you can download at the iTunes Store.

CBB son graduates this weekend and I'm already emotional about it.......but I'll email you for I'll be in TN at the end of the year ok?

It has been a long long road to graduation.  I will be thinking of you, your son and daughter and of course, your beloved, Rick.  You must be so proud of him and he of you.

I got a Christmas card from my soldier today........he did it himself...it's beautiful.... am so excited!!

 

Hi can!!!  Guess my excitement showed. The card is beautiful. A lot of time and talent went into making and a whole lot of heart!!

I'm throwing all these names at him and so far he's leaning more in the direction of Steve, Petey, Frank or maybe Max.

How you doing? Are you all ready for Christmas? Did you get snow from the storm that seems to have gotten so many of the monkeys.

We got snow, but it was only about a foot.  School is delayed for 2 hours tomorrow.  I was really surprised at that.

 


Christmas isn't for another several days yet, it is no where near time to be ready.

I was reading Sunny's fudge recipe and was thinking of you.  Did you see her instructions on the spoon and not the metal whisk or the fudge would not turn out.  Maybe that was the problem for the heavenly hash.

 

Am ready as it's just Grandpa & I as daughter took grand kids back to Calif for Christmas. So will have a quiet Christmas.   

I read what Sunny wrote. I do use a wooden spoon. I just have a mental block when it comes to the divinity or Heavenly hash.

Maybe Klaas will be calling her new pup Petey the Tyrannical Terrier   But look how sweet and cute her puppy looks.  That's why they're made so cute, you know.  When they get into things they shouldn't and then look up at you with those puppy eyes...

We are going to tackle Sam's today then I have to get serious about getting some of these things wrapped. Tonight is Survivor finals..yeehaw. If that darn Russell wins I am going to be soooooo disappointed!!

   Me, too....he's been flappy his mouth the whole season....

WOOHOO..he didn't win and believe me I jumped for JOY!!  What a sore loser....offering the winner 10K to get the title of Sole Survivor!  And my DS had to pay me $20.00 neener neener neener!!

Done with all my shopping/shipping and wrapping including the stocking stuffers which I also wrap.  Tomorrow evening we go pick up our new puppy    The traffic coming home is going to suck    Either tomorrow night or Tuesday I'll try and take some short video of the little guy 

My husband has placed a request for fudge, so I guess I'm making fudge tomorrow 

Wish I was finished too...but I am almost there!!  Can't wait to see the video's of the new puppy....Petey??? (has the name been decided?)  uuhhhhh you do have my address to send the fudge to, correct?

Hola! How's everybody? 

Finger Food? AHHHHHHHHH!! I have an EASY, EASY, EASY one that tastes great! 

SAUSAGE PINWHEELS
1 pound sausage
1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

That's it! Lay out a piece of wax paper. Open roll dough and leave in the rectangle shape on wax paper. Sort of pinch together the perforations. Spread uncooked sausage ( with fingers ) on the dough. Roll up like a jelly roll (From the long edge of the rectangle. You end up with a longer thinner roll, not a short fat one.)

You can slice it right then and bake slices in 350* oven until sausage is cooked , but I usually wrap in wax paper and freeze a little for ease of slicing. If I'm freezing for a later day, I finish with a wrap of aluminum foil. Either way, slice thawed roll approx 1/2 in thick, and bake @ 350* approx 15 minutes or until sausage is cooked.
