Done with all my shopping/shipping and wrapping including the stocking stuffers which I also wrap.  Tomorrow evening we go pick up our new puppy    The traffic coming home is going to suck    Either tomorrow night or Tuesday I'll try and take some short video of the little guy

My husband has placed a request for fudge, so I guess I'm making fudge tomorrow

Hey Miss Bearly

How you doing? Are you all ready for Christmas? Did you get snow from the storm that seems to have gotten so many of the monkeys.

Hi GE!

We got snow, but it was only about a foot.  School is delayed for 2 hours tomorrow.  I was really surprised at that.

Christmas isn't for another several days yet, it is no where near time to be ready.

Are you ready?  The kids?

I was reading Sunny's fudge recipe and was thinking of you.  Did you see her instructions on the spoon and not the metal whisk or the fudge would not turn out.  Maybe that was the problem for the heavenly hash.

Am ready as it's just Grandpa & I as daughter took grand kids back to Calif for Christmas. So will have a quiet Christmas.

I read what Sunny wrote. I do use a wooden spoon. I just have a mental block when it comes to the divinity or Heavenly hash.

Back to Calif, to who?

None of your BI business is an okay answer here.

Klaas....what kind of puppy is that? he is adorable!

how bout Riley....?
there are a lot of cute names for dogs out there....

Jack Russell Terrier

I'm throwing all these names at him and so far he's leaning more in the direction of Steve, Petey, Frank or maybe Max.

How about Russell?  Or Tyrannical Terrier after your avi?

Good Night Bearly it was wonderful seeing you tonight. Have missed you.
Sweet Dreams & God Bless

It is always good to see you, GE!

Scrappy
Ziggy
Skippy
Scrappy
Harley
Scamp

He says, how about Steve, lolol

It looks like you like the name Scrappy, having put it there twice.  How about Scrappy Steve?

Nothing slips by you Bearly, lol

We have decided on Petey I think.

Nothing slips by me but the rich guys!

I like Petey, a lot!

Maybe Klaas will be calling her new pup Petey the Tyrannical Terrier   But look how sweet and cute her puppy looks.  That's why they're made so cute, you know.  When they get into things they shouldn't and then look up at you with those puppy eyes...

Hola! How's everybody?

Finger Food? AHHHHHHHHH!! I have an EASY, EASY, EASY one that tastes great!

SAUSAGE PINWHEELS
1 pound sausage
1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

That's it! Lay out a piece of wax paper. Open roll dough and leave in the rectangle shape on wax paper. Sort of pinch together the perforations. Spread uncooked sausage ( with fingers ) on the dough. Roll up like a jelly roll (From the long edge of the rectangle. You end up with a longer thinner roll, not a short fat one.)

You can slice it right then and bake slices in 350* oven until sausage is cooked , but I usually wrap in wax paper and freeze a little for ease of slicing. If I'm freezing for a later day, I finish with a wrap of aluminum foil. Either way, slice thawed roll approx 1/2 in thick, and bake @ 350* approx 15 minutes or until sausage is cooked.

Hmmmmm don't I look pretty??

Yes, Boo, I have often admired your balls!

Bearly....whatever you are drinking or smokinbg Monkey Devil! you need to pass it around!

Good evening monkeys...!  Trying to put together my Mom's wonderful fudge recipe.

These are the ingredients that I remember, but I don't know amounts.  Does anyone have this recipe?

Chocolate Fudge with Pecans

        choc. cocoa
        white sugar
        milk
        butter
        vanilla
        pecan pieces
        marshmellow creme

I believe the cocoa, sugar and milk are cooked over fire to soft ball stage...

then I think butter, vanilla and pecan pieces are added and all is stirred/whipped together....I am not sure about the butter....it could be in step one

then the marshmellow creme is added and stirred together

the fudge is then quickly put into an 8 x 8" glass container that is greased with butter....

it sets up quickly and is ready to cut into squares in about 15 minutes.

Thanks.....I am on line also looking, but so far, nothing....!
