don't think I told ya'll I got a new car for my birthday!
2003 Honda Accord EX V6 white!!! I love it!!!!

Congratulations.  You deserve it.  I know you love it.  You didn't get an Acura? Question

I compared the new body styles and liked the Honda better. I'm loving it!!

Glad you like it.  You made the right choice.  We tried out a Mercedes (smaller one) for DH and he kinda likes it, but I am short and could not reach the gas pedal or brakes even with the seat adjusted as best we could.  I think he is going to get it for that reason. Laughing

Hey Tyler here's a little compact you might like, only $185K or so.

Carnut,
I take it Photobucket is one of those websites you don't believe in visiting, too, huh?

And they didnt even test him for alcohol or drugs! Just gave him a ticket and let him go!!! Cop said he had no probable cause to test him. WTF?

Carnut, that's a little over budget.  The Mercedes he tried out was a small little thingie, probably not as expensive as my Acura.

Way back in the beginning, at RWV we were looking for the company that poured the concrete.  I thought I remembered that we actually found it at one time.

Does anyone else remember anything like that?  I even thought there was an invoice but can't remember. Embarassed

I wonder if VMS has anything on that concrete.  They had to be pretty darned sure no one was going to be doing anything on their property to have poured concrete while under suspicion of murder.

O/T

Tyler,
I am not a wine drinker but thought with all the reports on how good it is for ones health I would make an attempt.  Son and new DIL brought me some from Montecello, label says Jeffersons Own.  I sort of am cynical as they never brought me wine before and wonder if they bought it and don't like it themselves.   Embarassed

Yes, I feel sort of mean thinking that but you know how these kids can be!  Anyway, am opening a bottle to try it as am sneezing like anything and not over last respiratory infection good yet, bummer.

Will report back on it but wondered if you had ever had any of it.

Will do Spooky, hard to taste with my nose stuffed up but am sure that is temporary.

Guess I will call it a night as well, still bitterly cold here as I am sure it is in Birmingham.  We seem to pretty much the only ones left.

Goodnight!

A WARM CHRISTMAS STORY:

TO WARM THE COCKLES OF YOUR HEART...

OR POSSIBLY, THE SUB-COCKLE AREA!

SEASON'S GREETINGS, MONKEYS!!!!!!!!!!

--------------------------

"I would probably not believe myself, no," he added. -- JURINE VAN DER SNOT -ABC PRIMETIME LIVE

He said, it was important that he tell his story...

"Because it's the truth," he said. "It's time to just tell the truth."

ABC-PTL INTERVIEW 2/2006

Joran van der Sloot:  No, not at all. I wasn’t planning to get her drunk at all.

----------------------------------

JORAN OVERDOES THINGS!

---------------------------------

My mother at one time very much loved my father. I asked her one day

what happened to their relationship - Why did it fall apart and she said...

"Welllll, he was a good man, but... like when he built the chickenhouse

for instance... He used 4 by 4's instead of 2 X 4's to build out the floor, ya

 know?"

"IT WAS A... F&$%CKING CHICKENNNN HOUSEEE!"

"He built it out so much... that friggin' thing could SUPPORT A PACK OF ELEPHANTS!"

 Laughing
------

In short, HE OVERDOES THINGS!

-----

Note - She wasn't calling my father a liar, just saying he OVERDID STUFF!

...and DILLWEED 'OF OF THE DITCH' VAN DER SLOOT overdoes stuff...

with many lies & each new sentence!

EXAMPLE:

ABC-PLT INTERVIEW

-------

Interviewer:  Lots of sharks around Aruba?

Joran van der Sloot:  No, no. No sharks at all.

( no repeated 3 times, with an 'AT ALL' tag. )

--------

BULLS*&^%T, Jossy says there are some sharks in Aruba!

This kid has lived there all of his

life. He should know these things!

---------------

"Some sharks walk on two legs!" -Jossy Mansur

------------

In my eyes JORAN overcompensates when he adds the words

"AT ALL" and then repeats the same words again & again,

*

ABC PRIMETIME LIVE INTERVIEW:

Joran van der Sloot:  "No, not at all. I wasn’t planning to get her drunk at all."

EVEN CONSIDERING THE LANGUAGE BARRIER... His
speech patterns & behavior points to lying.

He's 'OVER KILLIN' IT... with this IMHO.

-------

Joran van der Sloot:  "No, not at all. I wasn’t planning to get her drunk at all."

--------

TRANSLATION: HELL YEAHHH, I was getting her effin good and toasty.

--------

I can see in to many of his lies.

As scores of others do too, that is why

the case has remained alive

so long
with him as the main suspect.

HE'S A LIAR! This is documented fact.  HE ADMITS IT, for crying outloud.

He has more than 4 stories of what happened

with Natalee that fateful night! No matter which story he tells though,

none can succcessfully explain HOW HE AND NATALEE

PARTED FOR GOOD THAT NIGHT.

----------

...and that matters in a case, where all we have is his
A PERSON'S WORD to
 take.

---------

2 glaring reasons... he remains the number one suspect in

HOLLOWAY'S MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE...

( these are my opinions on it )

# 1. He's one arrogant son of a %itch.

# 2. One would not even matter, if he could do number two right,

WHICH WOULD BE TO TELL THE SAME
 STORY
OF HOW HE AND NATALEE
LEFT EACHOTHER THAT NIGHT,
three times in a row
  with no DEVIATIONS.

He has yet to pull this off to this day!

...and DAT is DE TRUTH.

-The
End! Wink

Why is it that ALE can figure out that Joran's "I'm home" text message to Deepak refutes his story that Deepak took him to the VDS home after the beach (hence their confronting him with that message in his June 14 interview), but can't figure out it also refutes the theory that Deepak took Joran and Natalee to the VDS home instead of the beach?

For the love of God, it could hardly be more obvious that the VDS home was not the crime scene.  The evidence and logic against it is overwhelming.  Not even a 1% chance.  They never went to the VDS home, that was just a diversion created by Joran in his second version, which for some reason not just ALE but also virtually everyone on the pro-family boards has completely fallen for. Very frustrating and depressing.

Think of this scenario:
Joran and Natalee were driven back to Montanja19 by the Kalpoe car at
1:40 AM and the 4 of them went into Joran's apt.  It could be that the usual M.O. was for Deepak to wait around until Joran was finished with his latest conquest, and then put the drugged female into the Kalpoe taxi to be returned to the vicinity of her hotel.  On this particular night, Joran told Deepak to go home and he would get someone else to do his dirty work, thus clearing the way so that Paul could have his fun.  Joran text messaged Deepak, after a reasonable length of time, and lied to him. After that Joran got on the computer and watched porn to pass the time knowing that he was not going to school hours later.   Remember, Joran lies to everyone (except Freddy...maybe).    There were many crimes and many crime scenes: C&C's - if drugs were put into her drink, and Deepak's car - if she was sexually assaulted while passed out, etc.
