 The Army psychiatrist suspected of being the lone gunman in a horrific massacre at Fort Hood in Texas took a "very calm and measured approach" to carrying out the mass shooting, the commanding general said Friday.

Survivors of the rampage that killed 13 and wounded 30 said the suspect, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, shouted "Allahu Akbar!" — "God is great!" in Arabic — before opening fire, base commander Lt. Gen. Robert Cone said.

Cone said officials had not yet confirmed that Hasan, 39, made the comment. Authorities raided his apartment early Friday in a search for clues but haven't yet been able to talk to Hasan, who also survived the shootings and was hospitalized on a ventilator.

This part I'm going to have to see/hear for myself to believe. It's just too convienent , too expected, and too "fits the profile".

I remarked in Ft. Hood shooting thread, that "Allah Akbar" no longer translates as "God is great" for me.  It's now translates to "Run like he77."
But I know what you mean about the "fits the profile".   I have a lot of questions about what went on, and I'm not sure we're going to get the straight answers.  JMHO

Good Morning, now for my rant. An army psychiatrist, big surprise, every psychiatrist I have seen since a teenager are nuts, more nuts then the patients they see. I'm sure somewhere in this big ole world there are some that may be good, but my confidence in them is zero, minus zero. No offense meant, just calling it like I see it, and my experience with at least seven of these stellar doctors  Therapists that you go to for advice and telling your problems, are not included with the vermin. I have been to some nice therapists. Now I will shut up, I'm angry as hell right now.

Good Morning everybody. 
I woke this morning with such a heavy heart. It was the first thought in the seconds of waking this has happened to us. This is such a beautiful picture MUFFY BEE posted last night. My flag is out this morning, and I'll be damned if I will forget to put it out everyday again.

I am angry. Very angry. And sad beyond the telling of it. I think we will be hearing details today that are going to make me angrier.

I see O is going to get a "do over" on his speech, he is supposed to speak in about an hour about the shootings. I can barely wait to see how far he can stick his foot in his mouth today.

Mornin Monks - it's Friday - should be a happy day but with the events in Fort Hood it is hard to be happy.  I am behind and will try to catch up.  All I can say is if this damn thing turns into "HE" was the victim and "WE" are the perps and O'Bogus apologizes for it I am seriously going to lose it!!!!!!!  It is time this country see the light - Political Correctness needs to die now, if not, more of our own will be taken by bastards like this.

They knew this guy was off his nut, no way around it, they can spin until the cows come home and I'm not buying any of it. Is anyone going to tell me, that they didn't know this guy was alive, BS, they knew it and lied, and the American people need the truth. Of course the government and the truth are strangers.
