Missouri drivers urged to use caution during deer mating season

The state Department of Conservation is urging drivers to be alert for deer darting in front of vehicles unexpectedly during deer mating season, which is October through December.

I hate to break it to them, but deer mate in every state during mating season, and they are crazed!! They are running around saying "come here Baby", and I don't think they take no for an answer.

Funny story about becoming drunk

I had eighteen bottles of whisky in my workshop and was told by SWMBO to empty the contents of each and every bottle down the sink. Or else...

I said I would and proceeded with the unpleasant task. I withdrew the cork from the first bottle and poured the contents down the sink, with the exception of one glass, which I drank.
 
I extracted the cork from the second bottle and did likewise with it, with the exception of one glass, which I drank.

I then withdrew the cork from the third bottle, and poured the whiskey down the sink, which I drank.

I pulled the cork from the fourth bottle down the sink, and poured the bottle down the glass, which I drank.

I pulled the bottle from the cork of the next and drank one sink out of it, and threw the rest down the glass, which I drank.

I pulled the sink out of the next glass, bottled the drink and drank the poured the cork down the bottle.

Then I corked the sink with the glass, bottled the drink and drank the pour.

When I had everything emptied, I steadied the house with one hand, counted the glasses, corks, bottles and sinks with the other, which were 29, as the house came by I counted them again, and finally had all the houses in one bottle, which I drank.

I’m not under the afluence of incohol, as some tinkle peep I am. I’m not half as thunk as you might drink. I fool so feelish I don’t know who is me, and the drunker I stand here the longer I get.

FYI to anyone thinking of getting the swine flu vaccine.  The US has ordered ones that contain a mercury-based preservative as their primary vaccine.  There is one that is made without mercury that the US has ordered so DEMAND to get that one if you do decide to get the vaccine.  The non-mercury one is meant for pregnant woman and children but you have the right to demand it.

My daughter got one today - with the mercury.   
What do you think of the ones with mercury?   I don't know much about the shots - other than the fact that I plan not to get one.

NOROSE, I hope for your sake that everything goes smoothly for you at the family gatherings. 

I just talked to my son and he will be home tonight. He is sick, and I hope he hasn't caught something exotic. I'm making another pot of chili for tonight. It just seems like the right thing to make for this gray, wet, crummy weather. It is going to be raining on them all the way home. At least it won't be ice and snow through the mountains.

Oh no, me too. I just got a call from my older daughter, she is at the doctor now, so I'm waiting to hear. I guess a lot of people at her work have the flu  What I wouldn't give for your weather, may sound silly but it is hot again today, my body doesn't function right in the heat. I love dreary, rainy days fits my personality 

I like to have couple of days like that sometimes.It's quiet,except for the rain.   

My youngest went to the doctor today, too - because she is sick.   They told her if she does have the swine flu, it is a mild case of it.   Maryland is full of the flu right now.        I have a feeling I'm not going to be able to visit my granddaughter again this weekend.

Missing Cole County Missouri Girl Found Murdered

ST. MARTINS, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - Police say they have found body of missing 9-year-old Elizabeth Olten. Authorities say she was found murdered in the woods. The Cole County, MO girl has been missing since Wednesday. The Associated Press says police have a juvenile is in custody.

I have no links to back this up, but have heard: The mercury in the shot is less than that in a can of tuna. Although no one can scientifically prove it, a lot of people think autism is caused by the mercury in kids shots. Maybe later I'll look all this up....but I'm not getting the swine flu shot, no way, no how! It is bad enough to have cancer, but to have to oink every time I cough...dude, I so draw the line at that!!!!
