JSM, sorry I didn't wait up for you last night. I know you were tired. 

Fanny, no problem. I didn't get home til 9:30 last night. Then woke up and Josef had a little belly problem and left me a suprise this morning that I had to clean up before I left. Yes my day is starting out wonderfully.

Yikes that is no way to start off your day JSM sorry to hear that.  I wonder if the flu for dogs is going around?  Our Jack Russell hopped up in bed last night and threw up - so off came the bedding and in the washer at 10:30 last night.  Love changing sheets at that time of the night.  I hope Josef feels better as the day goes on. 

Sorry about washing bedding at 10:30 at night. That isn't fun at all. I should have known something was up when he wasn't on the bed this morning. He was hiding. Luckily I saw it in the corner of my eye or it would have been there all day.  I think they fed him last night before I picked him up and the food they gave him isn't his normal food because they have a new girl in the back.

It is amazing that if they dont get the right food how it can upset their whole system - I think my husband may have given her a few treats- as he knows he shouldn't.

I have the flu fom my daughter.  She was hit with it on Saturday and I feel like a truck hit me this morning.  We are both laying in bed - her reading and complaining about me typing and me with bad spelling. 

Sorry Northern you guys have the flu. Hope you get better.

Good morning mission i am not having too bad of a day...kinda flustered, and my head still hurts, and my bf head butted me last night on accident, he felt so bad, and it hurt sooo bad!!

Here I come to save the day...

Yep, had to take another unpaid furlough day yesterday - 7 more until the end of the year then 24 next year.

Wild time Saturday night - friend over to see Ruby and pulled out some Obama Chia she had, I had beer and Jack - never made it to golfing Sunday.  My Mexican friend will be upset when I see him tonight.  Sunday, my mom fell again and dad had to take her to the hospital.  Knee surgery being planned for sometime in November.  Sill trying to figurre out if I can make it back to FL this year, but with all those unpaid days off left - highly doubtful.

Spent Sunday and Monday just doing laundry and vegging.  Lost $ on the dam Jets covering the spread.

I'm sorry about your mom getting hurt, I pray she is okay and surgery goes well.

Now young man, start making us laugh please.

Thanks Guys~I'm sorry I missed Trimm's photo but I'm sure he was absolutely beautiful no doubt. I've had those pictures forever and never shared them, but really see no need not to as there is no way anyone could harm him as he is now with his heavenly father, but I wanted to show what a sweet little angel little Eli was and it makes me feel better to share with my "other family". I do have the one of just him framed at work and home and it makes me happy (most of the time anyway) to see his little dimple in his chin and his angelic little face. Hugs and love to all those who know the pain all too well, we shall always have each other to lean on

The Broken Lawn Mower

Marriage is a relationship in which one person is always right and the other is
usually the husband.

When our lawn mower broke and wouldn't run, my wife kept hinting to me that I
should get it fixed. But, somehow I always had something else to take care of
first: the truck, the car, e-mail, fishing, always something more important to
me.

Finally she thought of a clever way to make her point.

When I arrived home one day, I found her seated in the tall grass, busily
snipping away with a tiny pair of sewing scissors. I watched silently for a
short time and then went into the house. I was gone only a few minutes. When I
came out again I handed her a toothbrush. 'When you finish cutting the grass,' I
said, 'you might as well sweep the driveway.'

The doctors say I will walk again, but I will always have a limp.

My thoughts and prayers with you CC and your mom and dad, it is awful when they fall like that    I'm sorry to hear so many are not feeling good this morning, Northern, your daughter, Fanny, Trimm and Carrie. And to Josef and Mission your pup, hope they are feeling better. Kat and Tevye hope your morning is good  Me, I'm going to check the other threads, and do some work, and pop in when my head is in a better spot.

NOROSE, stay busy, but don't brood by yourself. I know you are missing your dad after putting him on the plane. Everything is going to work out in it's own time. I wish I could say something more profound...

Thank-you I appreciate that, I am keeping busy. I wish it was just brooding, it is way more, but I'll keep trying to get stuff done.

For some reason that joke reminds me of NORTHERN ROSE. Her solution is to take the lawnmower apart and leave it in pieces where her hubby sees it and fixes it!
