“We already have plans to return for another organized search when the vegetation thins out this winter,” he says. “”I don’t think Haleigh’s (body) is all that far away from Satsuma because whoever took her isn’t smart enough to carry her far.”

Yeah, but she still has not been found.

“This case is worked every day by multiple investigators from our department and other agencies, as we have from day one,” Deputy Hancel Woods, spokesman for the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) tells The Bald Truth. “We disagree with Mr. Miller’s statement, and there’s nothing we’ve seen that his view is correct –and we do have every hope of bringing this little girl home.”

But to insure it doesn’t miss anything, sources tell me PCSD investigators had to recently look into a wild claim by a debunked internet groupie who claimed Crystal Sheffield’s former attorney confessed she knew where Haleigh had been taken.
“I felt badly for police they had to waste their time adn taxpayer dollars and take resources away from legitimate law enforcement needs to chase the equivalent of an alien abduction claim,” attorney Kim Picaztio tells The Bald Truth.

Oh I think some of these people are soooooo off the chain, bloggers, writers, attorneys and all.

I think I somehow found a family member or close friend's photo gallery on a myspace page. It was public. I do not have an account with myspace or myface or any of those mythingies. LOL

I am probably one of the last remaining holdouts.

Her brother is the best photo I have seen, but, I thought I never seen Haleigh with a ball, a stuffed animal or a doll, you remember Cayle had a bald doll?

anyways he left a msg in the somers thread that said "i heard you were looking for jason hollars, you found him what can i do for you?"
klaas banned him because he didn't respond to klaas' question and so klaas thought he was a spammer... now my curiosity is thru the roof about why you mentioned him...
he is 30 and from TN WHO IS HE?

penny for your thoughts, your curiosity can come back down to earth.  I think that you must have me mixed up with another poster.  I don't believe that I have ever inquired about a Jason Hollar.

However Hollar is Lisa Croslin's mother's last name. As far as Jason, this is my first time hearing about him.  So you may want to do a SM search and see who exactly what poster was interested in Mr. Hollar.

E-mail address setup for tips in missing girl case

The Associated Press

SATSUMA, Fla. -- A new e-mail address has been created for people to communicate tips and leads directly with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office about missing Florida girl Haleigh Cummings.

The address - haleigh@putnamsheriff.org - is in addition to the Crime Stopper tip line.

Authorities said on Wednesday that this address will help ensure that all of the e-mails coming into the sheriff's office are routed to the appropriate person.

Haleigh, then 5 years old, disappeared in February from her father's trailer home, in a heavily wooded area near the central Florida town of Satsuma.

Since 2000, Florida has issued 147 Amber Alerts. Of those missing children's cases, 142 have been resolved. The five unresolved Amber Alert cases are:

Haleigh Cummings, 5. Haleigh was being watched by her father's girlfriend, who reported her missing from her bed the night of Feb. 10 from Putnam County.

Bryan Dos Santos-Gomez, 1 month old. Bryan was taken from his mother at knifepoint after she got into a car to provide a stranger directions on Dec. 1, 2006, in Fort Myers.

Trenton Duckett, 2. Trenton's mother reported him missing Aug. 27, 2006, after she went to check on him in his bedroom in Leesburg.

Jarkeius Adside, 1. Jarkeius was abducted by three assailants during a home invasion robbery in Miami on Oct. 18, 2001.

Zachary Michael-Cole Bernhardt, 8. Zachary was reported missing from his bed on Sept. 11, 2000, in Clearwater.
