A friend of mine discovered the lengthy arrest records on Joy, aka Joy Roseann Maggard, her maiden name, which is posted on Joy's Facebook account. You can find her records on the Pinellas County, Fl. clerk of court site.  https://pubtitles.co.pinellas.fl.us/login/loginx.jsp?goto=/mainmenux.jsp  Come to find out, Joy is a lot like Casey in many ways. I wonder if Cindy and Dom did a background check on her as well. Any way, there is no way this woman should be used during the trial, IMO.

Although I don't believe Coman about the expense, all I can say is they sure are ugly tats. They are the ones that should have gotten "BELLA VITA" tat!!!!

Okay, I admit it.  I couldn't help it.  I bought the Diane Fanning book. (Originally $6.99 with a 40% coupon, so I only paid about $4.20.)  I read it last night, obviously a quick read.  The best thing about it was the time line, and it really did put together most of what we already knew in one place.  I wasn't wild about the speculation chapter, (kind of an "If Casey did it" sort of thing.)  She specifically states in the beginning that she did not interview Casey, Cindy, George, or Lee.  One thing I didn't realize is that Shirley P., Cindy's mother, confronted Cindy about Cindy's behavior and severed ties until Caylee's body was found.  After that she called Cindy and they mended fences with the caveat that neither Cindy nor Caylee would be mentioned between them.  I thought that was odd, Casey I could see, but no mention of Caylee?  At any rate, I thought it was a pretty even handed approach, just the facts, ma'am, for the most part.  I think when you look at this case solely on its' merits, there can be very little sympathy for Casey, and it was evident that the author did not have a dog in this fight.* 

*Not the New York Times Book Review, but I hope it was informative.

No dog in the fight except strike while the iron is hot as far as making blood money. That is my only opinion of Ms Fanning. I'm glad it was factual to the extent that it could be. It was fine with me if you read it, so no criticism of you for doing so, so I hope you don't take anything I say about the book and Ms Fanning personally.

I love the reporter's expressions when saying "whatever that means". Wonder how sick & tired they are, having to report on every single move the A's make? 

It was the same expression the reporter had on his face when he walked away from Joy after her interview after court that day, when she was implying she was the "secret" witness.
