as far as ron taking christmas night off 2 things why didn't he just let crystal have him for the day then? and i hope someone followed him because while some here speculate that he may have visited misty (which is very possible) i think it is also possible that he may have visited haleigh's grave...

I thought about that as a possibility too penny.......one thing I really don't get is, if he wanted to get her "stuff" back to her, why didn't he pack it up (couldn't be much) and drop a box wherever she's living now. All BS from these too IMO, they are still in this together and still covering their arse. How pitiful for little Jr, I truly believe it's too late for Haleigh, but someone has got to do something to protect Jr (hell, even Tim M stated that).

You said it for me, I was just going to post that I don't believe for a second she was picking up the rest of her junk. All he needed to do is throw it in a grocery bag and drop it off  And by now I'm sure she already has in her possession the junk she left at his house.

Haleigh's Dad, Ex-Stepmom Have Run-Ins With Law

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- The father and former stepmother of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings have had more run-ins with the law, but this time Misty Cummings is the victim.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office says Misty reported she has been receiving threatening and harassing phone calls.

However, in a separate incident Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings, has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon in a road rage incident.

Haleigh Cummings disappeared February 10 from her home in Putnam County.

I wonder if this is the same Charles Jones from that very descriptive Blogger News article that Simon wrote a couple of months ago.

Misty Croslin – Tales From The Gutter

I reported yesterday about a supposed drug and sex fest that Misty Croslin was involved in a couple of days ago. For those of you not familiar with the name Misty Croslin, she was the babysitter of Haleigh Cummings, and also supposedly the last person to see the little girl before her disappearance on Feb 9/10 of 2009.

Through an intermediary I have obtained some more details of this sex and drugs binge.

The host was one Charles Jones, a man with a somewhat colorful background. Reports are claiming that he was found guilty on an arson charge, and is very much involved in the drug scene in Palatka. So involved that he is the ‘go to’ guy for them.

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. -- Another holiday has come and gone, and Haleigh Cummings' family still does not know what happened to their little girl.

Chrystal Sheffield spoke to First Coast News' Jessica Clark on the last day of the year.

Sheffield said Christmas was extremely difficult.

"There were a lot of things we didn't do. We didn't go all out because she wasn't there," Sheffield said through tears. "We let the kids open their present three days before Christmas because I couldn't do it. I just couldn't do it on Christmas Day."

Haleigh Cummings disappeared from her father's home in Satsuma in Putnam County in February. She was 5 years old. Searches have turned up nothing in her case.

Sheffield said she feels law enforcement, specifically the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, is not doing enough to investigate her daughter's case.

"It's gone on long enough for them not to know anything," Chrystal sobbed. "I just don't understand. I want answers. I want to know what's going on. I want to know what clues they do have."

I don't think I could have had Christmas present opening on Christmas either, and maybe she didn't have JR with her on Christmas. 

She didn't...........and the holidays are very different when you have lot a loved one (as you all to well know yourself), also Chloe is really too young to even understand Christmas.

We are doing good though and my sweet son bought me and my daughter an aquamarine heart that is really a paperweight for Christmas and insisted we open it first, then ealier my BF bought us both Aquamarine rings to in memory of Eli and then at Christmas he bought us matching earrings.

5-Year-Old Disappeared From Father's Mobile Home In February

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- As the mother of a girl who disappeared from a Putnam County mobile home after she was put to bed on February night, Crystal Sheffield has been in the public eye for almost a year now.

Talking on the eve of a new year, she told Channel 4 she'd give anything to go back to the way things were before the worst day of her life.

"Like your heart has been ripped out of your chest," Crystal Sheffield said. "I really don't know how to explain the hurt I feel."

In the months after she vanished in February, Haleigh Cummings' face has been everywhere -- television, the newspapers, posters, even billboards.

There have been dozens of searches, thousands of leads, but investigators are no closer to knowing what happened to the girl who would have turned 6 in August.
"It's horrible. I just sit around and wait, hoping that you'll get a call or a knock on the door saying they found her, and you don't," Sheffield said Thursday.

While the couple was never married and has been estranged since before Haleigh disappeared, Sheffield said she still talks to Haleigh's dad, Ronald Cummings, about the search for their daughter.

She said as a mother, she has to hold out hope that Haleigh is safe and will someday be reunited with the family.

"I just want everyone to keep searching," Sheffield told Channel 4's Adam Landau. "I don't want anybody to give up on her. She's only 6. She's not worth giving up on."

Linda Dayson and Robert Dove work with the Jacksonville-based organization Hurting Families With Children in Crime. It supports families who are victims of crime.

The organization is supporting Sheffield and the rest of Haleigh's family.

Dayson said, "I don't believe Putnam County is doing the best they can do with this ongoing search. We don't want this to be another cold case."

She wants surrounding law enforcement agencies to help the PCSO.

PCSO Lt. Johnny Greenwood said a team of investigators just met with Sheffield and her family in November.

Greenwood said investigators got the family "up to speed on the case."

According to the incident report Misty Cummings lives at 202 Green Lane ,Welaka
I check the Putnam County appraiser site and there is no 202 Green Lane in Welaka so did LE make a mistake on the incident report and put down Welaka instead of Satsuma.

Why hasn't Misty updated her address and why did LE not ask for an updated address when they took down the incident report?

Why is Misty name not changed on the incident report they have it as Misty Cummings?
I thought they got a divorce and her name was changed back to Croslin.. I dont believe for a minute that Ron just picked up Misty for her to pick up the rest of her things...

Who lives at 126 4th Ave Welaka? According to Putnam County Appaiser site 126 NW 4th Av (Palatka) [317]. There is no address as 126 4th Ave in Welaka... It looks as though 126 NW th ave is being rented out as the homeowner according to the property search records live elsewhere.

Where is Haleigh??
