I know I missed a good bit but just saw the news about the drug charges....holy swamp scum!   Good grief, I guess I have to read back and see why Misty & Ronald were even together again to begin with...or do I want to know

I hope they nail them to the concrete wall and throw away the key, poor Jr.   Well, to me this says one thing, Misty was reckless or deliberate in drugging Haleigh - my guess Haleigh died from a drug overdose intentionally or negligently - outrageous 

I agree......drugs played  role in what happened to HaLeigh....oh and we dont know why they were together or even if they were, nothing has been said about that...

HH, Id like to go down there and slap them into next Tuesday for a month of Sundays, care to join me?

Its not always Doctors that are writing the prescriptions.  I recall reading various articles about people flocking to Florida with fake prescriptions. Even some that travel hundreds of miles.

Hudson, Florida -  Dr. Daniel Bender knows how to get rid of aches and pains, but recently he's come across a chronic pain of his own he can't seem to beat - fraudulent prescriptions.

The grief started in September when the Pasco County doctor started getting calls from pharmacies in Hillsborough County about prescriptions he didn't write.  The frauds were trying to get a hold of Xanax, Methadone, and Oxycodone using his good name.

It truly is, I had to do research on the drug issues in our society and I was able to get the statistics of children who had to be removed from parents due to drugs in the home that were being released for the year of 2009, it was alarming. Also alarming was the number of fatalities in children due to drug addicted parents.

The father of HaLeigh Ann-Marie Cummings, the 5-year-old girl who has been missing since she was reported missing from her Putnam County home nearly a year ago, and his ex-wife were arrested Wednesday on drug trafficking charges after a four-month undercover investigation, police said.

Ronald Lemyles Cummings, 26, has been under a media spotlight since Feb. 10, when he and his then-girlfriend called police to report HaLeigh missing.

Cummings is facing three counts of trafficking prescription medications, and his bond would be posted at $500,000, according to a statement from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office released late Wednesday.

Misty Janette Croslin, 18, Cummings’ live-in girlfriend when HaLeigh disappeared, is facing six counts of the same charge.

Croslin’s bond was set at $1,500,000.

The Sheriff's Office said that on seven different occasions, undercover investigators purchased the painkillers Oxycodone and Hydrocodone from the suspects and estimated the "street value" of the drugs at $3,900.00.

On Wednesday, according to the release, Cummings and Croslin "purchased trafficking amounts of prescription medications from undercover investigators" and were immediately arrested.

A few months after HaLeigh was reported missing, Cummings and Croslin, both of Satsuma, about 10 miles south of Palatka, were married in a highly publicized ceremony. A few months later they filed for divorce.

Three others were also arrested in the ring.

Croslin’s brother, Hank "Tommy" Croslin Jr., 23, of Satsuma, is facing one count of the trafficking charge. His bond was $100,000.

Hope A. Sykes, 18, of Satsuma, and Donna Broch, of Orlando, were also arrested.

Sykes is facing one count and will be held on a $150,000 bond. Broch is also facing one count but will be held on a $250,000 bond.

While police in Putnam County led the investigation, most of the alleged drug transactions were in St. Johns County, meaning the suspects would be prosecuted in St. Johns, said Sgt. Chuck Mulligan, a spokesman for the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.

“It’s truly a Putnam County investigation,” Mulligan said, adding that he did not know when or where the alleged drug deals took place.

Prescription drug abuse is “rapidly on the rise in the Putnam County, and is one of the toughest crimes for law enforcement to combat,” the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said in the release, sent to reporters by department spokesman Lt. Johnny Greenwood.

“Information was obtained that these individuals were unlawfully selling prescription medications in the community,” the release said. “Sheriff (Jeff Hardy) assigned detectives from the Drug/Vice Unit to the investigation. An undercover Putnam County Detective infiltrated this group, gaining the trust of these drug dealers.”

While the Sheriff’s Office did not connect the alleged drug ring and the disappearance of HaLeigh, the following was added to the bottom of the release:

“As stated in previous releases, investigators assigned to the Haleigh Cummings investigation will take every available opportunity to speak with any individual believed to have knowledge about Haleigh Cummings' disappearance."

I have had minimal contact with her via email but it was not pertaining to anything in the case, she was more or less sending me inspirational emails and praying for Eli and my family. I can look thru old phone bills, but I've seen Ron get out of the pokey too many times to initiate that call and I feel that it's not my place.

Haleigh Cummings Update – More Comes To Light - Donna Brock

The news has been breaking fast tonight. We are still trying to figure out what is going on. We do know that several people are in jail, and that they are accused of serious drug trafficking crimes.

For the past while we have been slammed with questions concerning the situation of Misty Croslin, Hank Croslin, and Ronald Cummings, according to the PCSO web site they are no longer in custody. That is true, my sources now have them in a different county I am being told St Johns.

There is a big question in my mind about the Donna Broch(k) mentioned in the press release. Well folks, I can tell you that yes, this is the same Donna Brock that took Misty Cummings off for a vacation in Orlando that Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch (TES) bankrolled. Miller has been somewhat cagey talking about Donna Brock, it is not clear if she was acting as an employee or a volunteer at the time. However he does admit that it was his money that paid for the adventure.

At $250,000 in bond, I would say this lady has a problem.

There have been some stories swirling aroung about TES for some time. Most of us have opted to avoid the stories. His war chest is large, and ours is not. But, one has to wonder why he would have selected Donna Brock to be Misty’s best friend? This latest revelation unfortunately adds credibility to some things that have been drifting around the ether….

MISTY, TOMMY and DONNA BROCK are now in St Johns Co Jail….Ron is in Flagler Co Jail….Sykes remains in Putnam Co

Ronald Cummings, Ex-Wife Arrested On Drug Charges

Ronald Cummings, his ex-wife Misty Croslin and her brother Hank "Tommy " Croslin, Jr. were arrested Wednesay on multiple drug trafficking charges following a month-long investigation.
 
PUTNAM COUNTY -- The father and ex-stepmother of Haleigh Cummings have been arrested on drug charges.

Ronald Cummings, his ex-wife Misty Croslin and her brother Hank "Tommy " Croslin, Jr. were arrested Wednesay on multiple drug trafficking charges following a month-long investigation.

Deputies said the three allegedly sold Oxycodone and Hydrocodone to undercover agents.
   
Hope Sykes and Orlando resident Donna Broch were also arrested.

If convicted, Cummings, Misty Croslin and Brock could face a mandatory 25-year sentence. The other suspects could face 3 to 15 years.

Cummings and his ex-wife have been in the media spotlight since 2009 after Cummings' daughter Haleigh vanished from her home in Satsuma.

Misty Croslin was the last person to see the now 6-year-old alive and is under suspicion after failing lie detector tests.
