PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- She vanished from her Putnam County home ten months ago and there's still no sign of Haleigh Cummings.

As her family nears the holidays without their 6-year-old girl, they joined once more Thursday night to hold a vigil to pray for her return.

Family and friends were coming together at Haleigh's great-grandmother, Annette Sykes', home in Welaka.

Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings, was also going attended the vigil in hopes that his daughter might be found.

I have read that some believe ron cummings is cooperating with LE. I have not seen this since the first two weeks. Once he married, all communication ceased. IIRC, Maj Bowling said they have wanted to talk with both of them but have been met with resistance. I believe he said that in August Ron Cummings had gone six months w/o talking to them, stating, "what else is there for me to say, I wasn't home".

I would be racking my brain and begging to talk with FBI and pouring out my soul to tell them  everything I knew about the people who know Haleigh and had come in contact with her. Ron Cummings has not done this, he has resisted.

He made an appearance (with his criminal attorney) to the FDLE in August (couldn't get out of that one) but insisted he would only speak about the phone calls. Seems like he stuck to that bargain too.

I am disgusted with the way the Cummings Family have handled theirselves with the LE. I would have expected better behavior. We know that Marie offered herself up for testing but we never heard if Teresa or Annette Sykes have.

There is so much more to this concerning the Cummings Clan. I want it to be straightened out but ron cummings doesn't talk and if he did it is always out of both sides of his mouth.

We know where Marie lives and her property was searched. We do not know where Teresa lives and her property was not searched. Why?

If it could be resolved how quickly teresa got there that fateful night, I would be able to let down some of my theories involving ron. Till I get answers on when she was really called and where she came from that night, I consider ron cummings as a POI. I consider Misty a suspect, of course. It appears there are others involved in this, which is unusual in this type of case.

MAVEN~ I also agree about Tim H, anyone who has a paypal donation button at the bottom of his "journalist work" is highly suspicious to me, that along with the fact he stated someone stole his fingerprints (not sure how that can be acheived) and that he has to sell his platelets for money every two weeks and his biography about dying and coming back (one has to read it to believe it) is a whacko IMO

A New Search for Haleigh Cummings?

A new search for a missing Satsuma, FL girl might be in the works at this time.

Just over ten months ago, then 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings was taken from her father’s home in the middle of the night. So far, only a few verifiable facts have been learned of the events leading up to her disappearance and nothing has been learned of her present whereabouts.

News/Talk 97.3 The Sky has spoken with a representative of The Laura Recovery Center in Friendswood, TX this morning to get verification on the rumblings we’ve heard from interested 3rd parties elsewhere.

The representative we spoke with Friday morning said a meeting would be held today to see if this case will be one they will be able to accept.

The Laura Recovery Center offered its assistance early in the investigation, but was turned down by law enforcement.  It is our understanding that a third party made contact with the group and then contacted both sides of Haleigh’s family.

This is a portion of an email sent to the third party from the Laura Recovery Center in response to an inquiry:

“We have watched coverage on Haleigh’s case and when she was first
reported missing offered assistance to Law Enforcement who declined our
offer.

The Laura Recovery Center responds to missing persons cases when
requested by Parents, Law Enforcement or part of our local Amber Plan.

I would like to talk with Haleigh’s mother or father to see if there are
any resources or assistance that we can offer.

Certainly, this must be an extremely difficult and emotional time for
all who know and love Haleigh. We pray that Haleigh will be found and
that she will be reunited with those who love her.”

Haleigh is described as a 6 year old white female. She is approximately 3′0, 39 lbs, blonde hair & brown eyes. Unknown clothing description.

Haleigh was last seen at her residence in the Hermit’s Cove area of Putnam County on February 9, 2009 between the hours of 8-10pm.

A statewide Amber Alert has been issued. An additional $30,000 in rewards have been posted.
