Suspect sought in child annoyance may be connected to other incidents

10:00 PM PDT on Thursday, October 15, 2009

The Press-Enterprise

Lake Elsinore police are looking for a man they suspect of child annoyance in an incident that happened Wednesday morning and may be connected with two others that took place on Sept. 24 and Sept. 30, police said.

At 6:40 a.m., a girl was walking to a school bus stop near La Strada and Vista Toscana in the Tuscany Hills area of Lake Elsinore, when a man drove up beside her in a black, four-door sedan and asked if she needed a ride to the bus stop.

The man drove away and the girl notified school officials who called the Police Department. She described the man as in his 20s, with brown eyes.

The car and the suspect match descriptions in the earlier incidents, police said.

Anyone with information about the any of the incidents is asked to call the Lake Elsinore Police Department at 951-245-3300.
