Regular cannabis smokers are more likely to have chronic bronchitis, and as cannabis smoke contains much the same cancer-causing cocktail as tobacco smoke, the evidence suggests a link to lung cancer.

Professor Hall and Professor Degenhardt noted cannabis's bad effect on mental health, citing evidence suggesting the risk of schizophrenia more than doubles in people who have tried the drug by age 18. "The most probable adverse effects include a dependence syndrome, increased risk of motor vehicle crashes, impaired respiratory function, cardiovascular disease, and adverse effects of regular use on adolescent psychosocial development and mental health," they write.

I noticed at Wally Mart that cigarettes are now about $10 a pack.  The woman told me she didn't sell any all night at the 24/7 lane.

What about taxing wine, beer, and alcohol to discourage consumption?

Pot?
