I think this whole thing of the Badens bringing up to bio father of Caylee and the DNA is just the smoke screen de jour. We have seen "Zannie did it", ugly coping, sightings across the country, Caylee's not dead she's in Puerto Rico, Jesse did it, no, Ricardo did it, maybe it was Amy. anorexia, bullemia, .........

Throw it on the wall to see what sticks! So far, nothing's stuck. JMO

Casey Anthony's attorneys to question former meter reade
8:01 a.m. EST, November 18, 2009

The former Orange County meter reader who found Caylee Anthony's remains last December will be questioned by the defense Thursday, according to WFTV.com

Roy Kronk, who has since been fired from him position with the county, is credited with discovering the skeletal remains in a wooded area less than a mile from the Anthony family home in east Orange County. Kronk tried three times to report the suspicious bag to authorities.

Casey Anthony, 23, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her toddler who was 2-year-old when she was last seen alive. Casey Anthony said she waited 31 days before calling police to help look for her daughter who had allegedly been kidnapped by a babysitter.

Why Cindy is her own worst Enemy
November 16th, 2009

Good Morning everybody!

Tupelo, this was a good article. The one about the Badens and "Who's the daddy," is just more smoke and mirrors in my view. They are desperate and really reaching now.

If I had only paid more attention-    I remember seeing Dr Baden on Fox one day, well before his wife signed on with Casey and he definitely said "Oh, the Police KNOW who the father of Caylee is- from DNA..... IIRC it was when all the initial forensic reports were first being released.   The interviewer did not pick up on that and no explanation was given. That has stuck in my mind.  Don't know if he was involved in any testing, but I do know that if HE has the information as to who it is, dollars to donuts his wife does too...

good morning monkeys  -Dr. Baden is losing it--you cant match DNA unless you have someone to match it to--In other words you have to have soemone you think is the father-get his DNA and match it.  So the police could not know who the father is-unless they have the fathers DNA-Its not Lee not George who else gave DNA

I dunno who else's DNA has been collected- but that is exactly what he said. He did not say 'the Police know who was NOT the daddy because A B and C have been excluded'. He said they know from DNA testing who is the father. I hope he's not confused. That made me think it was M Hawkins from CA.

WS - I also remember it as you stated.  I thought of Mark Hawkins as well, as didn't LE travel out to CA to see him?  It's reasonable to think a DNA swab was possibly part of their visit.

Casey Anthony: Central Florida News 13 studies Jose Baez's legal approach

A Jose Baez client was acquitted of attempted murder this week in Kissimmee. Central Florida News 13 used that story to explore how the attorney defends clients, including Casey Anthony. She is charged with the first-degree murder of her daughter, Caylee.

Reporter Adam Longo concluded the report by stating this vow from Baez: "With all of his clients, in fact, he says if the state wants to convict his clients, they'll have to work harder than they ever have before."

Rafael Contreras, a former truck driver, spent 20 months in jail. He was charged with the attempted first-degree murder of a bar owner. Eight eyewitnesses said they saw Contreras shoot the man.

But Baez's team spotted problems with the case: Contreras had been beaten severely while the supposed victim had not. Baez's team noted that the supposed victim's wound was consistent with being self-inflicted. The alleged victim had set up the attack to get back at Contreras.

Contreras praised Baez for keeping his spirits up. "When I was down, he always was giving me hope. 'Don't worry, Trust me,' " he said.

"These people put their lives in your hand, and they trust in you," Baez said. "That's not something you take lightly."

That makes so much sense.  Didn;t Casey also tell him that she had something to tell him?  I wonder if it was that Caylee was his...Also, wasn't his ex-wife Lee's ex girlfriend who got pregnant by him and subseqently have an abortion?  Maybe that's why she wouldnt' let the "Family" know about him.
