my idea not sure i should, but anyway, was thinking of mentioning this to LE
a buddy i fish with, called an was asking, how to upload the fish pic, i took with
his phone last sat. i didnt know how , while he was fiddling with the pic, he zoomed
in, and he noticed that 2 people seem to be arguing in the back ground, asked me if i knew that, no i didnt notice that. anyway long story short
wonder if someone caught something on their phone,and are not aware they did
people are always taking pics of kids ya know

Good thinking and worth asking anyone that was near that house on that day to check and see.  I know with my phone sometimes I can take a picture when I don't even want to.  I know when it happens because I hear the "click".

I know some people have questioned whether renovation at 1080 Gano Avenue was going on Monday, when Somer went missing.

Apparently, it was.

A "Kyle" phoned Ryan Hughes of Channel 9 and claimed to be the last person to have seen Somer. (Technically, though, the last person would have been her murderer, IMO ... but I digress.) He said he was at the home on Monday afternoon and Somer ran up to the house and told workers they were doing a good job.

The reporter went on to say that LE had questioned "Kyle" and his "colleague" George Vinson. (George is the RSO brother of the construction company doing the renovations on the house.)

Further into the report, it says that Vinson's sister said George was "never a suspect and he passed a poly" conducted by Clay County LE. (Does LE tell people they "pass" or "fail"?)

Also mentioned in the report is the sad fact that the Georgia ME will not release the body in time for the services Monday and Tuesday.

I sure wish we knew more about this "Kyle" person. And where he saw her go after she ran up to the house and spoke to them.  If George is his "colleague" then it sounds like they were both part of the renovation crew or at least worked together somewhere.

I don't think we have discussed this yet.

We are aware of the Somer Thompson family's situation and we are praying for her family that her killer be found. Luckly Elizabeth's killer is in custody and we pray that the Thompson family have that same small amount of relief soon. May God be with them during this difficult time.

So if the construction crew was there that day I wonder if these gates were open and Sommer went in them to talk to this Kyle?
I've always wondered if she ran ahead and got rid of her anger than decided to hide and jump out at her big sister and brother and got snatched in the process.

We have no verification that this "Kyle" person contacted LE that I know of.

Just that he contacted Channel 9 via the phone, claiming to have been the last person to have seen Somer.

He did say he and George had been questioned by LE though.

I may be measuring this wrong.

It is 5.7 miles by roads, not by the way the crow flies. So I guess he is within the 5 mile radius.
