Has anyone done a screen cap of mom's myspace because it will probably go private....I would but I don't know how...

I grabbed all of the pictures she has posted.

Thought it was odd she has NO pictures of any of her children at all there.

I was glad to see she had no pics...my ex and I have a written agreement we will not post pics of our kids. Too many crazy people out there.

This mother may not have pics of her own children on her myspace page, but some of the other sexual children depictions on the site tells me something is wrong with this woman. 

Yes, I noticed all the off-colour images in the posts on her page from friends also.

I also looked at some of her mother's friends' pages. Some have pictures of her.

But I really think the mother is not at fault here, she is grieving the disappearance of her child. I think it is a stranger abduction.

The grandmother said that Somer never met a stranger, she was friendly to everyone. I am betting she was taken away by a car, especially in light of the abduction attempt 10 days ago in the same general area.

I don't think Somer is in the neighborhood anymore.

Scrolling down the page it looks like her friend Jeremy posted all of those disturbing pictures with children. Wonder who and where he is? Geez I'd consider some of those pics to be child porn

Times have changed so drastically since I was a kid. It does seem unsafe now for kids to walk to school unsupervised.

I was thrilled to hear TES is coming tomorrow.

But I am feeling that she has been abducted and probably is not in the general vicinity now.

Graham man awaits return of missing daughter

Graham, N.C. — A daylong search for a missing 7-year-old Florida girl who vanished on her way home from school Monday has produced more than 150 leads, but the child remained missing Tuesday and officials said they suspect foul play.

More than 100 Clay County, Fla., deputies, law enforcement officers from neighboring counties and the FBI scoured a residential Orange Park neighborhood looking for Somer Thompson.

"I can't describe how that feels. It feels like somebody just took the life out of you," said Sam Thompson, Somer's father.

Sam Thompson, an Iraq War veteran, lives in Graham, North Carolina. He is recuperating from an accident that left him in a wheelchair.

“For anybody who has taken my daughter, I would just beg them and plead to their sense of humanity that they would let my daughter come home,” he said.

Horses, dogs, divers and helicopters have been used in the search for the missing girl, which began Monday afternoon when she failed to return home from school.

Officials have no idea what happened to her.

The second-grader is white, 3 foot 5 inches tall and weighs 65 pounds. She had brown hair tied in a pony tail with a red bow and was carrying a purple Hannah Montana backpack and lunch box.

The Amber Alert was issued at 9 a.m. Tuesday by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The alert was not immediately issued for Somer because her disappearance wasn't witnessed and there was no description of a vehicle.

Law officers are working 12-hour shifts so they can search for the girl around the clock.

Yes, it is certainly not the same world that I grew up as a kid either. I grew up in small town America where at the age of 9,10 ... we rode our bikes to school 5 miles.

No one would even think of that today and I do not even think the Elementary school even allows it.

Yes, I saw the earlier abduction attempt. These predators are unrelenting.

I think the fact that it was done as school got out in the afternoon is telling. If there was a pattern of them walking home, then they could have been targeted. Just waiting for one to stray and then pounce.

So very sad.

You would think.  As so many of these cases occur at beyond alarming rates, parents should discuss ways of keeping our children safer on the streets such as a designed buddy system, a community school parent transportation pool/walk patrol & yes cell phones for children old enough to use them (even if prepaid limited ones) so that 1) children can use in emergencies/contact parents 2) they can be tracked.   Every adult should utilize due diligence in the safety of our children, we cannot get so paranoid that children need to live in a bubble BUT there are many ways to reduce stranger abductions, sexual attacks & murders. 

As far as sexual predators out and about our society, the problem is first and foremost within our extreme liberals with twisted bleeding hearts that seem to think these offenders have rights & can be cured...its a scientific FACT that they cannot.   There should be something done nationwide that prevents our most liberal judges from giving ludicrous lenient sentences which allows these monsters back out on our streets to commit the same crimes repetitively.  For level II and up that are out and about currently, personally, Im all for stomping all over their rights & rounding them up so that they must live in very remote areas that are not populated with our child, I really dont care if they are offended.   It is high time that society as a whole & collectively considers the rights & expected safety of our children over the rights of their aggressors.
