Good morning all.

Thanks for all the updates.

I wanted to point out that the father, Sam Thompson in NC is a disabled vet and in a wheelchair, which may be one of the reasons LE told him he should probably remain home for now.

There is a local video of him here: http://www.wxii12.com/news/21358726/detail.html

I also heard that LE does NOT believe that the attempted abduction incident of 10 days ago has any relation to this case. They said today that authorities had located both the car and the individual and are "pretty confident" the cases are not connected.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/mother-missing-florida-girl-somer-thompson-begs-return/story?id=8877337

TES should be there searching now. Let's hope she is found today!
Thanks, I was sure thinking that perhaps that other incident, had something to do with Somer.

So does that mean they will also be charging them with an attempted abduction of the poor 5 yr old, now that they have located and identified them???

Excellent question!

And they say they have identified "the individual" ...there were reportedly 3 individuals in this incident. Two men and a woman.

I surely hope they address this in their next press conference.

The article does not mention him being a disabled vet, but that he is recovering from a car accident... link posted above.

Sam Thompson, who is recovering from a recent car crash, said he isn't in good enough shape to travel to Florida to assist in the search for his daughter, Somer.

Well this indigo thing is a new one on me.  And I wonder if some use it as a front for something else.

And regarding Mr. Patton's little write up about himself, he says that he is a Computing System Analyst. I need to correct him. It is a computer (not computing) system analyst.

I also posted an article earlier stating the same.

When I was in my late twenties, my Dad gave me an alarm thing to keep in my pocket for when I was by myself. Even walking in a shopping centre parking lot isn't safe. Underground parking is also bad. He got it at an Army Surplus store. This thing when the button was pushed made such a loud noise, it would scare the bejesus out of anyone and would also alert anyone in the vicinity that something was up and make them at least look in my direction. Maybe cell phones should have a panic button type thing.
