1080 Gano Avenue: Forensic Mobile Unit is there to process the home throughout the night looking for evidence.  Relevancy:  Last known address where Somer was seen.  It is 500-600 yards from her school, and corresponds to other witness information that they have from people in the area.  Home is vacant.  A housefire was a few months ago.  Owners don't live there.  They don't know how it ties into the crime scene, but they are going to search it.  She said they don't have anyone that saw her in the home, just outside on the sidewalk.  They also don't have anyone that saw her with anyone near the home. 

Not at a point to identify POI or suspect, but are encouraged by the information they have received.

They still don't think prior abduction attempt is related.  In fact, they don't think it was an attempted child abduction.

This is certainly a homocide, and foul play.  because of autopsy results and other info, it is a homocide.

They will not discuss conditions of the victim's body, whether it had evidence of trauma or not.  Won't say anything other than identity has been confirmed.

She spoke about 5 of something.  I couldn't hear the question, but I think it was five potential sex offenders, all within the 5 mile radius, that they've questioned.

I did not sleep 20 winks last night after reading about Somer and now another one is God trying to tell us something? What is this word coming to....I pray for this childs safety and to be returned to her parents.

Maybe I did not word that right....by no means did I want my statement to sound like I thought this was Gods plan....I don't know maybe I am just overwhelmed with all this...Hope I did not offend anyone.

MyMonkey, I understood what you meant as was not offended. I understand that this is a difficult time for all who follow these cases and care about these children. I was always told that it is not for us to question God,that he has a plan, but I can not see this as being a part of his plan, I think, as one of the other monkeys pointed out,God has given us free will,and some abuse it. Maybe God did not plan these events,but he sure did pull us all together for a reason I think. I am sure there is a purpose for us to be here,whether it be sending e-mails and letters to the Governor, state senate,president himself to get something done or to just support each other thru the pain of knowing another innocent has been taken for the sick pleasures of a monster,there is a reason for us being here. I just know that God loves us all and would not want any of his children to suffer.

My understanding of what she said is that all SO's within a five mile radius had been investigated and vetted except for 5 that were either not at home or had not been found. Those 5 should be investigated by later tonight. Some of the 5 had been talked to on the phone
