Just asking, but does anyone know the COD for Debbie Riley, Kuhn's girlfriend?

OK, one last video and then I'll move past my obsession.  Again, she is smirking when talking about the killer.  I just don't think that smile is congruent with her words which are angry.

Also, of every person I know that has lost a child, the ONE thing they each hated to be told was "he/she is in a better place."

OK, back to researching and trying to uncover information.

Hi MadMom and Welcome

That video just broke my heart. I see the fleeting "smile" and I think it's more of a grimace, I have no doubt if Somer's killer were in front of her and she had a shotgun close by, she would dispatch him and to he!! with the consequences.
As to the quote, "he/she is in a better place" I don't know, I have never had to face anything like this but I can see where it would make a person feel worse not better.
What is there to say in a situation like this but to offer verbal palliatives as support, this is something that can never be made right. JMHO  an angelic monkey

I know my imagination must be going rampant here, but I sure found these two things a bit odd.

I know, I know. I need some rest. Been researching this case too long.

On the police report, it has Currier working for Oldcastle Precast Inc. 5995 SOUTEL DRIVE, JACKSONVILLE. FL. 32019.

I don't know, but don't think that they do trash pick-up, but I could be wrong.

What is the date that Charles Currier created his myspace page? He could have changed jobs since that time.

I don't think he meant he drove a trash truck, but rather he was trashy truck driver. Maybe he drives a truck for Oldcastle Precast.

Hi madmom, and welcome!

I watched the video, and it seems to me the smirk is reacting to her talking about catching the perp. It's not a bad thing to examine the family of a victim with a healthy dose of suspicion. A lot of crimes end up being committed by family, and I will admit that I've seen other video where I looked for the tears to back up the voice changes. I just don't really see it in this particular one. JMO.
Here is the video I should have posted.  It is the one I viewed yesterday that disturbed me.  It, IMO, has many more of the smirks that I refer to.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUp6Zn8LBD4
i honestly didn't see any smirks other then when they asked her what  she wanted to say to the killer and she responds we're coming for ya...
i don't see anything off about her and quite honestly i think she is a strong woman who is focussing on finding the killer... kind of like the sherrif said yesterday it was a bout somer now it is about the killer...
by her own admission she was never the quiet type and to me it looks like she would literally rip apart the killer limb for limb...
maybe it all hasn't hit her yet or maybe as a survival mechanism she needs to move forward... grief is weird and sometimes you need to grasp on to any emotion you can and i think hers is adrenaline for finding the killer... JMO

I think he drives for Oldcastle Precast too. He talks of driving his Peterbilt on his MySpace, and I don't think there are many Peterbilt trash trucks.  "Trashy Truck Driver" is a joking description that a lot of drivers have for themselves. JMO

pretty sure that if my kid was found dead in the garbage i would announce to the killer i'm coming for you mother f'er with the biggest grin on my face... but that's just how i am so i guess i can see why she would have said it in that tone and with a smirk... i know if this were me then the only thing that would bring me peace is killing the killer in the most painful way possible
