Just throwing this out there, but I doubt it, could she have fallen in one of those ponds by accident? Have the ponds been completely searched?

They have not stated that either way.  Just that they are focusing in the woods where the cell phone was pinpointed.

Officials on the scene said they were not accepting new volunteers, but that the search for Elizabeth Olten had not been called off. Officers from the Missouri State Water Patrol also are in St. Martins.   Posted by Matt LeBlanc

What do they offer these men as a way of "treatment"? Do they undergo counseling? I would like to know the rate of success these programs have? I bet it is right around 0

I found in one of the article comments that Dale S was released 15/10/2009 but went to a different correctional facility and is currently there.  I have not found him as an inmate yet, but the statement above indicates that he may well be in the klink as well.

Don't know, but several volunteers have stated that now.  I guess we find out in the 7pm news conference.

I can't even begin to tell all the rumors and thoughts and suspicions I've hearding regarding Elizabeth's disappearance and for reasons of uncertainty, I refuse to mention them. We don't know for sure what's going on, what's been found--if anything, or which rumors to believe and to repeat what someone's father's friend, a searcher, a concerned citizen or a 'rubber-necker' heard or saw is completely counterproductive and I for one will not believe anything unless I receive it from a reliable source (local news, police officer with first-hand knowledge, FBI, etc.) I've been praying for this family, for Elizabeth, and for her friend and her friend's family. I think now we all need to pray that the TRUTH will be shared and not hear-say and rumors.

I dont like the sound of the property being roped off, that means that a certain area has been selected to be of special interest, something important happened in this area if it is indeed roped off, and thats why they have it that way, so strangers and others dont go around that area, they want to be able to gather evidence or look for evidence and other people milling around would make that difficult, ....I cant believ this is actually going on again.......and not looking good.......OMG

I was hoping they found the cell phone.  Then they said the search was not called off that they had too many searchers.  Now they are saying they have called off the search.

I hope the 7pm news conference has good news.

Officials said Thursday afternoon Elizabeth Olten was wearing a pink T-shirt with a darker pink vest over that when she went missing. She also was wearing jeans with pink ribbons on them, officials said. The description differs slightly from what investigators had first said.  Posted by Matt LeBlanc
