Hello Monkeys, I agree Twilight, and now Mew Moon that is coming out next month are more about love and not wanting to hurt anyone then anything else, thats the entire message of the movie, how this family of Vampires are vegetarian vamps, because they refuse to hurt people and so I really dont see a connection from Twilight to any of this..

Hi,
I'm a local, and personally know AB. We're in the same class, and I've been going to school with her since we were 12. I makes me really sad that she could've done something like this, and makes me rethink my judge of character.

Something I'd like to clear up is that she has seeked help for mental issues in the past. She dresses "emo", but hasn't really shown any outward signs of depressions since two years ago.

When she was around her friends, she was very happy, and bouncy, and open, and I have never witnessed her being a bully. Ever.

There are tons and tons of rumors going around our school, yet none of them contradict another. I'd like to post some of them, but being simply rumors, i can't.
 
    From WS, have no idea if this is legitimate or not.

 they must have a great English comp. dept at that high school. Very articulate and goes the extra step " to clear up" issues for the sleuthing fans............ not wholly buying it

if this post was made in the last hours, I would call B.S. because the kid would be in school.

I seem to recall the vampire craze started earlier than these books.

Kids getting vampire caps on their teeth and wearing weird colored contact lenses.

I can't imagine teens listening to this type of music, but at their age, they all want to be/appear as rebellious as possible. I think a lot is for shock value or attention.

No Rose, I too went through a daughter being a cutter, and got her councelling as soon as I found out. I am proud to say that today, she is married, a very responsible, independent, talented, caring young adult.

  That is great  We got her counselling as well, and she is on medication for anxiety and depression. She had some relapses along the way. It is very difficult to deal with and understand. I had never heard of cutting until she started doing it, my husband and I were completely shocked.  And I totally agree about shock value or attention, with dress and music and such, I think we have all gone through some phase while growing up, to try to fit in or look cool.

Paraphrasing but she said she was out sick with a cough, but there had been threats from AB's friends if anyone said anything bad about her, and the administration was doing nothing about it.
