Why isn't she in class right now? Did they suspend school because of the funeral?  I don't go over to WS, maybe she has answered these questions.

Paraphrasing but she said she was out sick with a cough, but there had been threats from AB's friends if anyone said anything bad about her, and the administration was doing nothing about it.

I guess the lesson that Dolce taught me, that anybody can make up an identity and play mind games with others, has me doubting a lot of what I read these days. no matter what this person writes I hope the killer is treated as an adult.

Did you have the same problem I did (page loaded and the info on the left, under her nic  "disappeared")? I'm definitely no whiz with MySpace, but never saw that happen before. Usually you can click through on one of those links, like the Pictures/Videos.... 

no, it loaded fine - except I can't find a link for pics.

duh, i didn't read well what you just said.

yes, I do not see pics/videos/playlist

on the left, under the main pic.. is where MS (typically) shows name, mood, last login, and "view vids/pics".  <--- THAT is all the info that magically disappears. You can only see it briefly when page first loads...

I found an open (not set to private) MySpace for a girl who claims to be one of AB's best friends. Hometown: Forks, WA.

What is odd is when the page fully loads, the "last login, mood, view pics" lines of information disappear, and will not allow me to copy it. If you hit refresh, you see the text again, but then disappears again. I've never seen that happen on MS before...?

Elizabeth Olten Murder Suspect To Remain In Juvenile Custody


JEFFERSON CITY, MO (AP) - A teenage suspect in the slaying of a 9-year-old mid- Missouri girl will remain in juvenile custody while a judge decides whether the case should be tried in adult court.

An attorney for the 15-year-old suspect, who has not been identified, waived a scheduled detention hearing Wednesday. But Cole County Circuit Judge Jon Beetem did hear arguments on whether the public should be allowed at Nov. 18 hearing to determine whether the teen should be tried as an adult for the death of Elizabeth Olten.

Beetem made no immediate ruling.

Funeral services for Elizabeth are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 2:00pm at Concord Baptist Church in Jefferson City. Afterward, the casket is to be taken by a horse-drawn hearse for burial at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Elizabeth was found dead Friday in a wooded area near her St. Martins home, two days after she was reported missing.

IMO jme has changed her nic but left a clue.    She is all over the article boards with the new nic today. 

I wonder why NR.  Do you think that poster is family, with the school or LE?  What other reason would that person be so "protective" of this "suspect"

I was thinking something similar but you were far gentler and kinder than my thoughts.  The board is going out of its way to deflect any blame and making sure that there are no issues can be connected to the high school and nothing is pointing their way.  What are they working so hard on hiding?  FTLOG the kids need counseling ALL of them  not just the elementary school.  The high school kids are probably feeling hurt, betrayed, confused and angry.  To top it off one of their teachers committed suicide on Monday. By saying there are no issues is how they are dealing with the kids?
