Although we haven't had a lot of time to keep up with the condolences you are all expressing please know that we do appriciate them. Everyone in the small close community and extended area have really came together to support us and we appriciate it so much. The Family of Elizabeth would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has helped in anyway from the individule prayers to those who searched for Elizabeth. Many donated food and supplies and we would like to thank them as well, If we have forgoten anyone please forgive us and know we appriciate your efforts.

The one rumour out there that the grave was dug before Elizabeth went missing I am not buying.  Searchers were in the area twice and could not find anything as she was "very well concealed" per the Sherriff.  Fresh digging and dirt would have been noticed IMO.

LizaJo Meyer - We are aware of the Somer Thompson family's situation and we are praying for her family that her killer be found. Luckly Elizabeth's killer is in custody and we pray that the Thompson family have that same small amount of relief soon. May God be with them during this difficult time.

i am one of her best friends we were at school on the bus then my friend kendra told me that one of her friends was wacthing the news at home and said that elizabeth was dead so most of the people on our bus (mainly myself kendra,my sister,) got on ...our phones immediatley and called our familys immediatly. when they answered we told them to turn to the news when they told us we broke down we all did when another elamentry scholler got on she said i hope they find her then we satrted crying harder and harder when we had to tell her she absouletly were so enraged by her death yet so sad she looked like she was frozen then after we told her when and where they found she ran off of the bus me and my other friend had to catch her she kicked and bite and punched us that is how much we cared for her agin we couldnt be more sorry

That's what I saw also, from a tweet, not a fact, but why would she tweet that if it wasn't a fact?  I really wonder if she made some calls on Elizabeth's phone?

But reading the thanks they have given to the volunteers, LE, all the way down to McDonalds for providing food and the FB message they sent to Somer's family. I am very ashamed of what I was thinking yesterday about Elizabeth's family.

I do feel bad for Dale Sr but still can't stop thinking if he had something to do with Jazmine's disappearance. I even thought about that at church today and prayed for him.

I know someone was asking way back would he be able to go to the funeral, usually it depends on the DoC. I know one of my relations was in TDC and was allowed to my great grandmother's funeral. Not sure what he was in for, but it was her grandson so I would assume the Prison would let him go to the funeral of his daughter. I really hope so. JMO JSM
