Added Torres: "He only came out when the kids came out of school." And I'll bet money he had his eyes on Somer for awhile. I will also bet money this creep is a big ole momma's boy, and will not be one bit surprised if momma was protecting him.

And I wonder if this neighbor, who was so suspicious and uneasy that she is selling her house, ever reported this to the police?  She apparently told her friends about him. 

Yes. I wonder too. And I wonder if the Buchanans, (the daughter and parents who turned over the computer and disks) who stated they really thought he was involved in Somer's murder said that to LE. I would think they had, since they were proactive in turning him over to LE concerning the child porn.

i could be wrong but i thought i had read in an article that they had mentioned it to police... no link and i'm not 100%

I think a "Who's Who" thread might be useful the way this case is started to unravel.  Can you imagine later to night when some monks log in and start reading and trying to sort out what's been posted?  I'm getting confused and I've been right here reading along and I hear "Dueling Banjo's" in my head.

For the record, I'm pretty convinced the police believe they got their monster too. After reading the warrant, $1 million bail is a tremendous amount of money given this guy was charged with possession and not production or distribution. And a good deal of what was found was apparently child erotica as opposed to hardcore child pornography. I don't know of a single case where a person facing similar charges had a bond set anywhere near a million bucks. This is checkmate folks.
Justice for Somer will make this a happy weekend.

On the booking sheet, there is a profile picture of JH and comparing that to the brownjacketed man at the vigil it really looks like him.  Same flat face and hair looks much the same.... hard to tell but could be the same.

What we can do, so the thread doesn't get muddied up is to have a kind of working (research)  thread for who's who.  A place to work on and get input/research working out the who's.   After it's researched and found to be valid it could go into Who's Who.  JMHO  I can move some of the stuff to a thread to research if it's causing confusion.

But if you copy the link in entirety from SM and paste it in the browser address window, it will work.

o/t but that usually happens when you are not on the main page of the profile... i have that problem postig myspace links to speciffic photos all the time

in mass it is not that high for kiddie porn...and we have strict sentences too...
except in mass it is okay to have an instant message sex talk with kids because of a loop hole in the law and something to do with the law states printable material... some a hole just got off on charges because his instant message chat fell in that loophole

it is the somer thread but now it is a lets analyze the chit out of the perp...
the pic of the man and woman is his mother and step dad the pic of the blonde with kids (which should i think have their faces balcked out) is his sister and once upon a time many moons ago (but in real life) the perps mom married a loon inventor who concurrently also married his 8 year old sister (same blonde mentioned above)
he lived with a girl and her fiance stole their ipod and was kicked out leaving behind a computer filled with porn which was given to the cops in aug (2 months before somer went missing) he was allegedly living in his parents house on gano ave after they moved out and (at the time of her disappearance) and had since at some point moved to mississippi with his aunt (sister of the mother)...

chit i didn't even realize about the dog... we ended the conversation by me telling him i had to go and that i hoped he wasn't in trouble (since i supposedly don't know why the fbi was there) and his response was

penny - I removed the two posts.  I'd prefer they not be posted again until we hear from Klaas.  If she gives the okay, then okay.  Even though this minor has his FB in public, I'm not sure we should post it here.  Maybe in future you might want to ask if you are in doubt.  If you wonder if it should be posted, please ask before posting.  I realize you did say to remove it if need be, but it's already done if it's posted.  And you posted it twice    I'm not trying to be a meanie, but just trying to ask everyone to think.  I've sent Klaas a message, maybe we'll hear from her soon.  Maybe she will say post it again, but I'd rather be on the side of caution.
