I think a "Who's Who" thread might be useful the way this case is started to unravel.  Can you imagine later to night when some monks log in and start reading and trying to sort out what's been posted?  I'm getting confused and I've been right here reading along and I hear "Dueling Banjo's" in my head.

MERIDIAN, Miss. -- First Coast News spoke to Jarred Harrell's aunt, who says she doesn't believe her nephew is capable of violence. 

Harrell, 24, has been named a person of interest in the disappearance and murder of Somer Thompson. He was arrested Thursday in Meridian on 29 counts of child porn. The Clay County Sheriff's Office said the pornography crimes occured in Clay County.

After reading that arrest warrant again it struck me, and it is chilling, but the section that is blacked out is alarming as well.  Did he have a girlfriend? Or could it be something else?  Like family members or friends family members? - good Lord I hate to even type it, but I couldn't help but wonder.

penny - I removed the two posts.  I'd prefer they not be posted again until we hear from Klaas.  If she gives the okay, then okay.  Even though this minor has his FB in public, I'm not sure we should post it here.  Maybe in future you might want to ask if you are in doubt.  If you wonder if it should be posted, please ask before posting.  I realize you did say to remove it if need be, but it's already done if it's posted.  And you posted it twice    I'm not trying to be a meanie, but just trying to ask everyone to think.  I've sent Klaas a message, maybe we'll hear from her soon.  Maybe she will say post it again, but I'd rather be on the side of caution.

but i did feel the need to verify what i had heard so that it wasn't blown off as rumor... a relative of his (let's just leave it at that) still lives on gano and their room was apparently tossed pretty well by the fbi either today or yesterday...
the only reason i did post is to make sure people knew i was 100% fact on that.. well at least according to this relative of his...
didn't even pick up on the white dog thing being the pic either....

also it was said tat this couple knew to look for the porn because he had been caught by someone else... wonder who would have told them that? maybe he got caught peeking at a friends kid or worse

Right, or his sisters children or cousins children - he is by far junk and needs to be destroyed.

Sorry - I was busy elsewhere and didn't realize there was an issue here.  Muffy did the right thing by waiting to hear from me.  That said I don't really have a problem with someone involved in this case, if they already have a public myspace or facebook posting the public information.  Even if that person happens to be a minor.  If that minor is old enough to have a PUBLIC social networking site then they are old enough to have that information posted elsewhere. 

In general, I wouldn't want to be plastering photos of minors in the forum though.  A link to the facebook would be sufficient.

Thanks Klaasend.  I'm sure penny didn't  intend to cause any problems, as you can see from her posts.  I tend to want to protect minors even when they aren't using good sense (imo) and throwing it all out there.  For all I know, he might enjoy the notoriety of having his FB with name, pics and addy on SM, since he had it out there on the net already
