That's what I am wondering, not to mention the man (B) knew he had child porn on his computer before he (H) moved in with his B's) step-daughter and did not report it then.  Other adults knew it too and did nothing about it.

when i asked if he was in trouble his response was not unless someone tells a lie but i don't think they will so i should be okay... he didn't say unless someone lies... he said "tell a lie" that statement sounded strange to me coming from a 17 yr old... he swears and talks like an adult yet that statement sound juvenile and out of character to me...
i really hope that this kid didn't get dragged into anything sexual by jarred... i know it sounds like i'm jumping the gun and verbatim nothing backs that up... it was just a feel i got from this kid like as though he was worried/ashamed about something and i don't mean anything having to do with somer

Thank-you. I'm shocked that one of this creep's stepfathers had found this terrible stuff when Jarred was a teen, and they thought it was a phase, I just read that. Is this in an article or video somewhere, and that I just missed this?

the fact that they found it when he was a teen in itself isn't that odd normally... teens sometimes look at stuff just for a shock factor... my younger cousin 16 has some porn vids on his computer of women doing things with dogs and horses that you would believe impossible unless you saw it... which i did and i still don't believe it... my cousin has no intereset in having sex with animals it was just the shock factor (kind of like that disgusting 2 girls 1 cup video) as a teen you don't realize the severity of what you are seeing... not making excuses for this guy or this perp just saying if you find child porn on your teens computer you shouldn't automaticly assume he is a pedophile but you should report the child porn to the feds at least

i didn't know the dog was refered to as little but this is in fact the white dog from gano ave ... his name is harley and they have had him for over 5 years

Thanks for the pic of that creep with the little kid. I hear what you are saying about teens and shock value, I know I have two grown children, and believe me I know shock. For me shock was when my oldest got a tattoo, too some people that is no big deal, it was for me. But, if I had found child porn, or beastiality porn on my computer that they were watching, I would feel that this is way beyond shock value. I'm not sure exactly what I would do, to be honest, probably have a heart attack, and then I'm not sure. But I do believe that I would send them to a therapist, at least that would be a start.

Harrell was fired as cook at the Fleming Island eatery Beauty and the Beef last summer because he had a quick temper, the restaurant’s manager, Corey Secrest, said Friday.

Secrest said Harrell cooked for about 2 1/2 months and had a reputation for being a hard worker. But he got fired for “flipping out” on-duty, Secrest said. He added that he never witnessed the episodes, but he said the owner complained when Harrell would snap.

“He couldn’t straighten his act up,” said Secrest, 24. The owner could not be reached to comment.

The Buchanans said Harrell also worked briefly at the Orange Park Mall’s food court, but they weren’t sure where or why he stopped.

Harrell, who studied computers while attending a Mississippi junior college, was turned down for an information technology job by Jacksonville City Hall in 2006 after someone more qualified was hired, city spokeswoman Misty Skipper said.

Harrell’s resume submitted to the city lists jobs as a salesman, pizza delivery man and cashier in Mississippi from 2001 to 2005.

As for his criminal background, Florida records show one arrest in 2007 for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana in Jacksonville. He has no arrests in Mississippi.

Neighbors Say Callahan Home Searched in Connection to Jarred Harrell

CALLAHAN, Fla. -- A home in Callahan was searched in connection with the Somer Thompson case. It's unclear who lives in the home, but First Coast News has learned it's one of Jarred Harrell's relatives, though police have not confirmed that.

Police were at the home for hours on Thursday, according to neighbors. Neighbors said the home was searched by the FBI and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in connection to the Somer Thompson case, and newly-named person of interest Harrell.

Neighbor David Current said he saw police cars and an FDLE crime lab truck, but had no idea what was going on.

Current said the home in a rental and the family living there just moved in a couple of months ago.

"These are new neighbors renting from a woman. I haven't spoken with them," said Current.

Today, there was no sign left behind that police were even there. Neighbors said they don't recall seing Harrell hanging around.

Harrell was arrested Thursday in Meridian, Miss., on 29 counts of child porn, but Sheriff Rick Beseler said he is a person of interest in the kidnapping and murder of Somer in Orange Park last October.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office said the pornography crimes occurred in Clay County.
