Another thing that is bothering me is CWG being on the police report. I wish there was somehow a way to connect him to either CP or DT. I have a reason, but, don't want to start any rumors.

I don't have a way to connect him to Diena or Sean, but I don't think his being listed on the police report was a "mistake."

And he is HIGH on my list of suspects.

i don't want to stack quotes and o/t kind of but AZSUNNY there was an update about her the other night on tv and her sister that was with her that day who felt guilty for over 10 yrs for letting her stay outside by herself while she ran in to get her coat... her bike wheel was still spinning her dad failed lie detector tests and voice stress tests but he really didn't do it... they had the entire neighborhood searching within minutes and she was never found... there was one guy who showed up at one of the searches and was screwing with police who they say they knew in their gut did it

I missed that.  Thanks.  Her Dad was really distraught, as I remember.  That was a long time ago.

I just watched Nancy Grace. It was that Mike detective filling in for her. There was nothing new. it was a discussion about that sex offender who was arrested for trying to pick up the 2 boys that are brothers. They have no reason to think the cases are connected accept for proximity and opertunity with his MO of luring kids near a school.

Ahhh .. thanks. Kenneth Kellam I think is who you are talking about. We just discussed him, most of us thinking he probably didn't have anything to do with Somer's disappearance.

Lenie I don't know I believe they did have dogs hit on a dumpster in the Cummings case as well as finding evidence in the home. They just have not found her body.

I just don't understand how the laws can be so different in states. My step mom's son started having sex with one of his daughters friends when she was 9 or 10, this little girl is 15 now, she told on Brian in August of 2008 but because of her age and the fact that she admitted to being sexually active with other boys (her age) it took them almost 6 months to arrest and charge him with rape. They allowed him to plea bargain down to where he only got one year in jail and pleaded guilty to corruption of a minor by drugs. This is so unfair to this little girl that had her childhood taken away from her. We live in a very very small town and he has already been warned not to come back when he is released. It is just so unfair. He actually got 9 years but reduced to 1 and 5 years probation. (ohio)

Evening Monkeys. I just got back from a walk, and something interesting going on. This afternoon the guys in the white suits showed up again to the 1080 Gano house, tonight there is a police cruiser parked there in the yard guarding the house. Something going on????

Wow, sure sounds like it?!  They must be searching for something specific..maybe some of the anaylsis came back from testing of the evidence.   Keep us posted.  guess we couldn't get you to go park and watch?  just saying....

Penny - Yes I am local. I will check on my walk tomorrow for the Vinson signs. Here is another little thought for you smart monkeys to process. If they know the area where the garbage was taken from, and we all assume she was placed in a dumpster, then why do we not see the police out checking all the dumpsters within a 1-2 mile radius? When the truck comes, it takes the garbage, not the dumpster (unless it is a construction dumpster). We have only heard of them looking and testing the dumpster at the house. What do you guys think?

I don't know why they haven't had the dogs around all the dumpsters in the area. This question of yours did cross my mind, but I had no answer.
Now I have a question for you.
Here, we have two types of garbage pick up ( Contracted out and non contrated out.
Where my bro lives there is a large dumpster every three to four houses in the lane for the houses. The stuff just gets dumped into the truck.

Where my daughter lives, they do the recycling and she has the bins and the regular Oscar the Grouch garbage can with a lid. The guys get out of the trucks and empty into the truck.

Businesses have their own dumpster and services.
..
What type of residential services are there ?
Are there any businesses close to 1080 Gano ? That would have commercial dumpsters ?
..
Where do these workers from the house on Gano go to the can ? At the park ?
Would the water have been shut off in the house and " clean up " etc be done in the men's can at the park ? Why did the police go to the Men's can over there ? And come out with something ?
..
Please, no sleeping until I have all my questions answered in point form and in good English.

I'm no expert, but unless Somer was murdered at the dump where her body was located I believe it would be a secondary crime scene. That doesn't make it any less important than the primary crime scene. In fact, they may be able to obtain more evidence from her body found at the dump than if they locate the original site of the murder......Here's a link for a pretty good article on crime scenes.....

I was wondering if she was dumped in a local dumpster or a trash can. With the way those trucks dump trash in and trash out and compact it. Its possible she was originally in a bag of trash that ripped open.

They were in the mens room at the park for 6 minutes one time. Maybe the trash can was missing from there or something? I don't know.

You would think they would be searching all trash cans or dumpsters in the area.
