I also noted that there is no crime tape up at the "burned house" at 1080 Gano.

Brandi - Nothing going on at 1080 house. Also for the first time since Somer went missing there was not a sheriff's car in the yard. Could just be a shift change, but they were gone when I went by.

I have noticed that on weekends, this site often has problems. My guess is maybe maintenance is being done then.

Oh.... another observation. Lots of homes for sale in the neighborhood, but not one sign in a yard for "Vinson" Realty.

Interesting to note. I know they had an officer as a liaison to the family with them 24/7 for  long time. Diena even stated that he/she was now considered a family friend.

twocents - thanks for the pics  .  It wasn't your pics that made the server burp, I've noticed it's been doing that about once a day lately.  My guess is it's the server company having problems.

That's what really jumped out at me, the swings being so close, I didn't realize that, and the picture sure brought that home  I didn't read anywhere about the crime as being heinous, just the thought is heinous, but what I mean is I have not read any type of description. I know there was talk of her little fingers being cut off, but I have no idea if that was true or a rumor.

One more pic. This says alot. On every single light post, stop sign, street sign throughout the neighborhood there is a purple ribbon.

Did anyone notice the carpets in the dumpster? hmmm rolled her up in a carpet maybe? Are there other construction site around there? It wouldn't be too unusual to see a constructin truck pulling up to a dumster and throwing out a roll of carpet. It also wouldn't seem that unusual for a person along that street to see a construction worker at the house or leaving.

I also notice, it is a bit dark or shady outside that house. Somer could have been on that property and not been seen or noticed. I really do think a little 7 year old can get lost in a crowd of people walking and talking, not really paying attention. Can any tell me what side of the street people were mostly walking on? Do they walk along the houses or the park side?

Tracygirl. there are lot of trees, and it does look dark even in the daylight. As for construction near by, I have not noticed anything else going on in the neighborhood to this extent.

The one thing I do want to check out is when the park across the street starts filling up on a Monday night. Last night the place was packed. It would be interesting to see what games are played on Mondays and what time they start. If they start at 5:00-6:00 (for the pee-wee kids) that would narrow down the time that someone would have to do something without a lot of people being around.

About the swings: Here is twocents' picture again and one from google maps to show where the swings are in perspective to the restrooms. (I grabbed her large image and looked real close. There appear to be Mens and Womens doors in the little restroom house.)

It doesn't have to be in that direct or exact area, just an area that serves that dump site. Are there new homes being constructed, or homes in an area that are being mostly flipped for resale or commerical builds? Think about it, how odd would it be for a construction truck to pull up to a dumpster and dump a rolled up carpet? Most people or business owners would assume they are just throwing out carpet from a home or suite that is under a remodel or had new carpet put in.

Brandi - The gate in front of the restrooms are locked. You actually have to walk down to the left of the picture and through the playground to get to the restrooms. They are in the same fenced area.
