No other construction going on in the area that I have noticed. This is a well developed and older neighborhood. I will double check again tomorrow.

Brandi - The gate in front of the restrooms are locked. You actually have to walk down to the left of the picture and through the playground to get to the restrooms. They are in the same fenced area.

Remember Kyles phone call? He says Somer came up to them to say they are doing a good job. Now what on earth would make a little girl go over to a house to tell men this? Well could be she was called over. maybe she was on the swings or maybe she had stopped infront of this house to wait for her siblings and one of the workers talked to her. It would take just a couple of seconds to have her in the back area, away from everyone.

Sorry I am obsessing on this house, but it seems it is more then possible she could have gone there and her body was taken out without anyone questioning it happening.

Here's a map of the 1080 Gano house, her school and her home. You can see how close the 1080 Gano house is to her school, and on the same side of the street. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that she'd walk on that same side from school then cross the street at DeBarry to head home. Just a guess, though. (Did I say that was just a guess? LOL)

Tracygirl - I agree. I cannot figure out how she would have gotten past that house without her siblings seeing her. It is a straight shot. The sister said she last saw her at Solomon. Then I read another story that said she was at Gano and Debarry, and turned the corner and was never seen again. At the command center Wednesday morning, the conversation between some of the cops was that she was tracked into the woods (which would have to be Debarry), but then the crossing guard would have seen her, the house would have nothing to do with it as she would have been passed there. OMG! this is mind-boggling.

That's what really jumped out at me, the swings being so close, I didn't realize that, and the picture sure brought that home  I didn't read anywhere about the crime as being heinous, just the thought is heinous, but what I mean is I have not read any type of description. I know there was talk of her little fingers being cut off, but I have no idea if that was true or a rumor. 

"I fear for our community until we bring this person in. This is a heinous crime that's been committed," Beseler said. "And we're going to work as hard as we can to make this community safe."

I believe that the murder of any child is a "heinous" act. And Sheriff Beseler has stated there is a killer:

"And he says the killer may also have unexplained injuries to his face, arm or hands."

2cents is that Church next door to 1080 Gano Ave occupied?  And will you get the address #s for the church next time you are out please? I don't see an address listed for it in the directory.
