COLUMBUS, Ohio -- An Amber Alert has been issued for a 9-year-old girl who was taken from her north Columbus home Thursday night.

Columbus police tell NBC4 Jasmine Bishara, 9, has been taken by her mother, Christine Bishara, 35.

Jasmine is described a juvenile female of Egyptian descent who is 4 feet 4 inches tall and about 71 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.

Christine Bishara is described as female of Egyptian descent who is 5 feet 2 inches tall and about 150 pounds.

Jasmine was last seen at 5274 Butternut Ct. in north Columbus.

Christine may be driving a red Saturn with Ohio license plates ESZ-4873.

Columbus police tells NBC4 Christine was having a psychotic episode and has expressed violent tendencies.

Anyone with information regarding the location of this child is asked to contact Columbus police at 614-645-4545

I hope Jasmine can located  or can get away from her mother to somewhere safe.

Missing Girl Found Safe At North Side Walmart

Police said that they located Jasmine Bishara, 9, and her mother, Christine Bishara, at the Walmart, located at 2700 Bethel Rd., at about 10:30 p.m.
Jasmine Bishara was safe, and Christine Bishara was in custody, police said.

Christine Bishara, 35, took Jasmine Bishara from her north Columbus home, located in the 5200 block of Butternut Court, where she lives with her custodial uncle.
 
According to the Amber Alert, Christine Bishara is considered schizophrenic, paranoid and has had homicidal and suicidal thoughts, 10TV News reported.
