Good morning.  I got to thinking bout holidays for the A's.  I wonder if Shirley has holidays with CA or choses to spend them with the brothers.  I doubt they all get together like the good ole days.

kc tore this family apart in more ways that one.....I doubt they ever got together like families do...JMO

Hi Monkeys,

Happy Thanksgiving.  I am in Daytona Beach, Florida visiting my mom.  We are driving over to Orlando today to check out the Anthony home and the spot where sweet Caylee was found.  I'll be taking a few pictures and will report back.

I drove by the Hawaii Motel in Daytona Beach - were Gerogie-boy faux tried to commit suicide - not a great part of town.  My mom said it was just a few clocks from what they called their "red light" district.

have a great day!

Cathie
Hi craftie!!  thanks for taking pictures and reporting back!!  I wonder if dear old georgie paid a visit to THAT district BEFORE he went to the Hawaii Motel  Monkey Devil! Monkey Devil!

Florida Jail food

OMG, I would starve in jail. Guess that is why KC gets all those treats from the commissary.
Hahahah..I would lose 50lbs and my cholesterol would go down! Hahahaha

Doesn't if look foul. My Thanksgiving leftovers are tasting great today... can't imagine eating that carp.
Worse than the food would be the boredom of jail, I could not take that.

eeewww it is nasty looking...but I would still prefer she had bologna and white bread and koolade! Monkey Devil!

Thanks so much for posting the pixs..ya done good!!!...the remains site look as though even the foliage is filled with sadness....

I can't imagine how the A's could possibly not have gone up there and erected a cross or something.....but of course that's what 'normal' people would do...

Lyon, in her lecture, said that she wins about one motion per decade.....I hope she wasn't planning on increasing that awful record with Bozo added to her madness.

Just got back from Orlando where I went past the Anthony home, Caylee's remains site, sawgrass, amscot and fusion.

I was surprised at how close they all were to each other.  I was actually shocked!  I have been following this case since day one and seeing everything with my own eyes really put a few things into perspective.   I took a few snaps - hope I can post them ok.

Sorry to quote myself - I was not sure how to post pictures.  If you slide the bar at the bottom of the pictures you can see the whole photo.

The first picture is of the Anthony home.  I was disgusted to see Lee's car parked in the grass.  (scroll the pic to the side to see).

The next two pictures are of the remains site.  They were taken on November 25, 2009. The woods area is where Caylee Anthony's remains were found. The area appears over grown and very thick but in actuality you could easily walk through the area. Lots of garbage was tossed around - I even saw a few mattresses.  I could see how Kronk (sp?) could very easily see into the spaces between the branches.  A perseon could easily walk through,

I was shocked at how close this was to the Anthony family home.  Closer than I could ever dream.

The last photo is the Hawaii Motel in Daytona Beach, Florida.  This is where George escaped to and allegedly attempted suicide.  The motel was in a pretty yucky part of town.  There was a liquor store across the street and a few of the motels along the strip.  I saw several people who appeared to be in transition or homeless.

One note was how close amscott and sawgrass apts. were to her home.  It is hard to imagine what was going through Casey's mind.  IMO - it just proved to me more and more how narcissistic she is.

To see more pictures visit my flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33163232@N00/  (hope this link works)

Thanks, cathie, for the photos. Looks like summer still there in Orlando.

So apparently Lee is still living at home with mommy and daddy.

Sawgrass looked better in your pic than in any I have seen. I had heard it was a "not-so-nice-place." But the office picture made it look nice to me.

Appreciate your taking the time to take pics and share them with us Wink

Oh for the love of St. Pete!!  I see Lyons behind these...she wants to change Florida's laws to accommodate kc!!

Holy Smoly.  Someone had better call the local branch of environmentalist to save the trees in Florida as there will not be any left at this rate.  Change the laws in Florida as they are unconstitutional.       Makes you wonder if the defense really knew their client were innocent to what lengths they would be going to get her out of jail rather than all this bullcarp.  Just saying.  Why are they not spending their time and energy on her defense rather than declaring Florida statutes unconstitutional?

Casey Anthony: lawyer's audio dies; messages alive and kicking

Adding more controversy to the high profile murder case, reactions to Anthony defense lawyer Andrea Lyon's 2008 death penalty lecture tape, obtained "without permission," and now removed from an Orlando TV's Internet site--continue, as two criminal attorneys and a watchful blogosphere sustain a heated debate over the material's shocking content.

In Orlando, TV station WFTV pulled the highly inflammatory Andrea Lyon recording--in which the Casey Anthony defense lawyer describes negative, or "ugly" courtrooms encountered during cases she has tried, prompting her to remark that "sometimes 'ugly is presiding" in a courtroom.

In the taped speech, Lyon also opines that some victims' advocates "wear strap-ons," and categorizes certain women with blue hair who carry "pocketbooks" as "killer" jurors.

Although the tape is no longer viewable on the TV station's web site, controversy over Lyon's lecture continues, reflected in two opposing legal analysts' blogs, reported in Orlando's newspaper, TV stations and as expressed by people who listened to the recording of Lyon's lecture before it was removed.

On Nov. 23, WFTV's Kathi Belich aired what the Orlando Sentinel's Hal Boedeker terms an "eye-opening report on Andrea Lyon," now the death penalty counsel for Casey Anthony, facing trial for the murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

The tape was posted in conjunction with Belich's report. Currently, Lyon's lecture is available on YouTube.

In the still-accessible tape, the strident, anti-capital punishment lawyer and DePaul University's director of the Center for Justice in Capital Cases, recommends tactics she uses during the penalty phase of criminal trials, when she argues against the death punishment for convicted criminals that the jury could "kill," she states.                                                                                                                                                                                                  In remarks concerning the Lyon tape, Bill Sheaffer--WFTV's outspoken legal expert critical of the Casey Anthony defense--who says his real interest is "justice for Caylee," requests people not hold all defense lawyers in the same light as they view Andrea Lyon, whose "scorched earth policy," "take no prisoners" case strategies appear in the "Death is Different," 2008 seminar where Andrea Lyon spoke.

Petitioner......J.A.B.=Jose Angel Baez

speak about prior bad acts......

I thought this part summed it up nicely..."these events show a total lack of respect for the
rights of others and a total lack of respect for the legal system"...

Doesn't look as though he has changed much in the past 9 and a half years! I wonder if Bozo's "prior bad acts" can be brought up, if anything to show what lengths he will go to to lie and deceive, for himself, or for his client? He should be fair game too!
