The United States is the world's biggest debtor nation.  Barack Obama and Congress continue to spend on things that don't seem to be making the United States stronger, aren't helping Americans get back to work, and making life better.

$ $ $ $ $ $ $ $  The TRAIN is coming.  The tsunami of debt is just around the corner!!!

The United States is the world's biggest debtor nation.  Barack Obama and Congress continue to spend on things that don't seem to be making the United States stronger, aren't helping Americans get back to work, and making life better.

Quote
De Boer said he was looking to the United States to announce a clear emissions target for 2020. "A number from the president of the United States would have huge weight," de Boer said.

What is our number Mr. President?  How much more will these ‘promises’ add to our debt, and how many generations will pay?

Why not seek innovative solutions that don’t break the backs of Americans?  Don’t throw our nation into continued economic decline on Main Street?

Wall Street seems to be making money hand over fist, while Main Street is drowning in debt, taxes, and hopelessness.

HOW MUCH WILL Wall Street make when you sign us up for this new global deal?  How many generations on Main Street will be paying for your promise?

When did hope for a better day get lost?  It was gone long before Bush, and Obama seems to be giving it the final shove off the cliff of despair…

Quote
"Nonperformance, nondeliverance and noncommitment by the developed countries is acting as a break for any meaningful progress," Sudanese delegate Lumumba Di-Aping said.

Quote
"We need real change of heart and mind by the developed countries," which he accused of seeking to "relieve themselves of the commitment by asking the poorest of the world and the most vulnerable and the most underdeveloped to subsidize their high standard of living."

What caused the ‘high standard of living’?  I think with fewer taxes, a return to our core constitutional values, Americans can continue to have among the highest standard of living on the globe.

America never was part of the Euro Socialist plan, the dictator plan, or on the path of continuous violence and conflict.

At one time, jobs were plentiful in America, neighborhoods were filled with small companies that provided good jobs, and a good standard of living.

Today, we have RICH GLOBAL corporations, no jobs for Main Street, and our standard of living IS DECLINING after generations of prosperity.

Americans looked around their neighborhoods and saw that things were bad.  Pollution was a dirty word.

How do poor nations subsidize the US?  The underdeveloped?  What stands in their way of having clean communities?  Clean water?  Prosperity?

Perhaps these poor and underdeveloped countries need a clean sweep in their government officials?

How many of their government officials get richer while the poor get poorer?

Quote
Di-Aping also complained that rich nations so far were offering too little in emissions cuts. Scientists say industrial countries should reduce emissions by 25 to 40 percent from 1990 levels to avoid climate catastrophe. Di-Aping said their pledges amounted to 11-15 percent.

What are our levels today in the US?  Many jobs, industries, and pollution moved elsewhere.  Americans are left jobless, greatly in debt as individuals and as a nation, and we seem to have a government that looks the other way and continues the spending and debt traditions of the past.

I’ll guess that our emissions today are much less than they were in 1990.  Just a hunch.

Quote
"We are going to change the fundaments of industrial civilization, so it's no wonder there is a lot of activity going on in a negotiation like this," Anders Turresson said.

What does that mean for America Mr. President?  More homeless Americans while those in the White House and on Wall Street party on?

How can any of these poor and developing countries manage their emissions, pollution, and development when there is so much corruption?  AID money already goes astray?

Raping the hard working citizens of some nations to support GLOBAL corruption is just wrong.

Why does climate change SEEM to be addicted to money?

Why isn't their change and innovation that costs less?  Simple changes, sustained over a lifetime that make the planet a cleaner place to live?

Change should be innovative, make life better, cost less out of everyone's pocket and NOT LINE THE POCKETS OF POLITICIANS, WALL STREET, AND GREEDY CORPORATIONS with the hard working money of the masses.

I think it's the corruption in global politics that stinks.

The climate has changed on our earth for millions of years.  It will continue to do so, with or without legal agreements - no person, government, or treaty tells Mother Nature what to do.

Without Copenhagen, the US is doing a good job already – no need to pay more –

United States Made Record Cuts to Carbon Dioxide Emissions in 2008
High gas prices, economic woes and use of wind power are contributors to the decline.

Quote
Despite a 1.1 percent increase in the U.S. Gross Domestic Product, the nation’s carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels declined by 2.8 percent in 2008, according to preliminary estimates by the Department of Energy’s Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Read more here http://www.motherearthnews.com/Renewable-Energy/US-Carbon-Dioxide-Emissions-2008.aspx

Something to be PROUD of…  Why isn’t Obama promoting the good job Americans are already doing?

Why does Obama want to bankrupt our nation’s energy industry?  Force Americans to dig deeper into their shrinking pockets to pay for energy?

Here is an EIA report -

“Without Clean Air Interstate Rule, Sulfur Dioxide Emissions Still Decline”

“The U.S. economy becomes less carbon intensive as CO2 emissions per dollar of GDP decline by 39 percent and emissions per capita decline by 14 percent over the projection.”

Read more here and look at charts – http://www.eia.doe.gov/oiaf/aeo/emission.html

Real innovation means we pay less, it costs less, and we make every dollar do the work of two or three dollars.

Some in Washington, for some reason, just want to continue Hoovering up all the sweat, hardwork, and economic security of Main Street...

Climate change only natural

Quote
“Climate change is in an era of negative discovery, which means the more you learn, the more you realize you don’t understand,” he said. “The whole concept of stopping climate change is a bit ridiculous.”

He said politicians such as President Barack Obama and former Vice President Al Gore have misled the public into believing that a dire emergency exists in regards to climate change. Harris presented a slideshow at the summit to demonstrate his point that climate change is no more than a part of the planet’s normal climate cycle and is not being made worse by humans.

Every time I hear President Obama or Al Gore talk about people who want to trick you or deceive you into thinking climate change/global warming/global freezing isn't real...

I think of Henry Kane the preacher in Poltergeist movies.  He tries to warn the family that

You're going to die...all of you...

Let me in...

I lover getting around...

I'm smart...

I know things...

sorry to see...

still unconvinced...
