Interent Explorer is what you are using? A lot of people complained about it.   
I don't use it.   

I thought the same thing when she was testing it yesterday. I imagine their IT guy was the one that installed it. I have gone to Google Chrome from the old Internet Explorer. Works great!

It is horrible on a stacked post is where I have noticed it. I will have him change it next time he is here. Its to much of a pain to unplug and throw out the window. I am full and tired from lunch.

We are getting high winds and it is starting to flurry some snow flakes - Stay put Sassy and stay safe! 

Snow flakes!   Wish our rain was snow.    Daughter has a dental appt and I was thinking about going with her.   

If your rain were snow you would be getting alot - I love snowstorms.  If you go out be careful - I love your smileys.

Thanks!   I will.    I like going out in weather like this because if I decide to go shopping, all the stores will be empty.       All the smart people stay home!

He showed me how to get rid of it, but I am afraid I will screw something up today it is doing it now. Arggh, I am getting very pizzed.

COLLIER COUNTY — Adji Desir, the Immokalee 7-year-old who disappeared in January, will be one of six missing children appearing on the upcoming cover of People magazine.

The cover reads "Vanished Without a Trace: Heartbreak & Hope," and features the stories of young people who disappeared this year. The story was prompted by the August rescue of Jaycee Dugard, who was abducted in 1991 when she was 11 years old and held captive for 18 years in the California home of her alleged kidnappers, Phillip and Nancy Garrido.

Adji was last seen playing outside of his grandmother’s house in Farm Worker Village in Immokalee on Jan. 10, while his mother was at work. Authorities from across Florida traveled to Immokalee in January and combed the nearby fields and woods for nearly a week looking for Adji, to no avail.

Adji’s photo is also being featured on national direct-mail advertising fliers being distributed to 75 million homes across the United States from Nov. 8 through Dec. 13.

Anyone with information about Adji’s whereabouts can call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at (239) 793-9300, or to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). You can also visit www.colliersheriff.org.

Thoughts on yesterday, Veteran's Day:

As I was running errands, I was listening to my XM radio, the classic radio shows (channel 164). They were doing a Veteran's Day special, a broadcast of the Armed Forces show they did every week. This one was from VE day. Ernie Pyle (for you youngers, a great war correspondent who got down in the trenches with the boys, and told their story, from their perspective, he was greatly admired by the folks at home and the guys in service. He did die during the war, but after VE day, he went to Japan and was shot there -OMG, I'm sorry I know so much history!)

Anyway, Ernie was talking about winning "this war (WWII) so there would never be another great war. He said "We won this war because..." and then listed all the sacrifices.

That made me think. I actually came up with this myself...scary!! Being profound while not stoned is so not like me!!! . If When we win these wars, it will be because we DARED to fight! I think that's a great motto, not just for the military wars, but for the battles we all fight daily. DARE to fight!!!!!!

And this concludes my patriot rant for the day!

I'm doing my part to fight. If you only knew what I have been doing. 

On another fighting note, I have been out on three different excursions in the past week by myself. The last trip was yesterday to KROGER!!! For a pretty good shopping trip, and I did just fine all three times. I refuse to let this take charge of me.

JSM - Word on the street is that the Chicago Cubs plan to build an outdoor ice-skating rink along the ballpark's parking lot.  Will open probably in mid December and remain open through February.  Ice time will cost $10.  I want to drive the Zamboni.

  Oh, that would be so much fun. That isn't a bad price for outdoor ice. I hope they do it and if you drive the Zamboni, I will come just to watch that.
